DESIGN FOR A HAND-STAMP.

The Schedule referred to in these Letters Patent and making part of the same.

To all whom it may concern:

Be itknown that I, SAMUEL J. HoeesoN, of New Haven, in the county of New Haven and State of Connecticut, have invented t new Design for Hand- Stmnp; and I do hereby declare the following, when taken in connection with the accompanying drawings and the letters of reference marked thereon, to be a. full, clear, and exact description of the sinne, and which said drawings constitute part of this specifica.- tion, and represent in- Fignre 1, a. front view, and in Figure 2, a. side View.

This invention relates to n design for hand-stamp such as are used for marking linen, :md for similar purposes, and consists in the peculiar form of' the bese of the stamp, as more fully hereafter described.

The front and rear of the stamp are furmed into legs A A, extending up to :t brise, B, and the space between the legs of semcirculer form, and the outside contracted toward the base, as fully shown in the :rccompnnying drawings. The stzunp is fixed to the base B.
