To all persons to whom these presents may come:
Be it known that I, GEORGE GILL, of rlaunton, of the county of Bristol, and State of Massachusetts, have invented a new, useful, and ornamental Design for a Tea-Service; and do hereby declare the same to be represented in the accompanying drawing, which exhibits a side elevation of a teapot formed in accordance with such design.
The body A of the teapot is a truncated hollow ovod, the truncation being at the upper parte, where the body has a flaring rim or flange, a, to which and the mouth of the vessel A, a cover, B, may be hinged.
A fillet, b, extends about thelower portion of the body, and is joined with four or any other suitable number of legs, O O, each of which terminates in a service.
