Be it known that we, JAKOB LEVI'IIN and JACOB ROSEN, citizens of the United States,

siding at Chicago, in the county ot Cook nd State of Illinois, havev invented and produced a new and original Design for Clothes- Pounders; and we do hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming a part thereof.

This invention relates to an original design for clothes-pounders; and it is embodied in the shape and configuration hereinafter described, and illustrated in the accompanying drawings.

In the drawings the design is shown in perspective in Figure l, and in vertical section in Fig. 2.

The design as shown consists, essentially, of a frusto-conical body portion A, an enlargement B, having opposi tely-sloping walls, terminating in a cylindrical collar C at the apex of the upper Wall of portion B. On the We claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
