DESIG N. No. 29,978. Patented Ian. 10, I899. S. B. WATERS.
RADIATOR SECTION.
Application flied New. 16, 189B) TORNE I".
UNITED STATES PATENT OFFICE.
SAMUEL B. WATERS, OF JOHNSTOVVN, PENNSYLVANIA, ASSIGNOR TO THE FOWVLER RADIATOR. AND MANUFACTURING COMPANY, OF SAME PLACE.
DESIGN FOR A RADIATOR-SECTION.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 29,978, dated January 10, 1899.
Application filed November 16, 1898. Serial No. 696.648- Term of patent 7 years.
To 00% whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, SAMUEL B. \VATERS, of Johnstown, in the county of Cambria and State of Pennsylvania, have invented a new and original Design for a RadiatorSection, of which the following is a specification, reference being bad to the accompanying drawing, which forms a part thereof.
The said drawing shows a perspective view of a radiator-section embodying my design.
The leading feature of my design resides in the general conformation of my radiator-section.
The section is a rectangular one, considerably longer in one direction than in the other.
1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 are five pipes, of which pipes 1, 2, and 3 extend longitudinally, while the short pipes 4 and 5 lie at right angles to the long pipes and connect the adjacent ends of the latter. 6 6 and 7 7 are pipes of smaller diameter, which lie parallel with the short pipes 4 and 5 and connect pipes 1 and 2, re speotively, with pipe 3. The connections between pipes 1, 2, 4, and 5 are formed with bulbs 8.
Having thus described my invention, what I claim, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is
The design for a radiator-section substantially as shown and described.
In testimony whereof I have affixed my signatn re in presence of two witnesses.
SAMUEL B. \VATERS. Witnesses:
RICHARD EYEE, II. W. SMITH.
