ALL WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
Be it known that I, THOMAS S. HUDSON, ofl East Cambridge, in the county of Middlesex, :ind Stute of :sachusetts, have invented a new Design for a. Combined Inkstand, Sponge-Cup, and Pen-Rack, of which following is a. full, clear, and exact description, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, in which represented perspective views of my design. 4
The object of my invention is to produce an ornamental and unique design for aninkstand, sponge-cup, pen-rack; and consists in tno or more circular receptacles for holding the ink land sponge, in combination n one or two curved shelves for holding the pens. l l i To enable others skilled in the art to understand and use my invention, I will proceedto describe the manner which I have carried it out.
AIu the said drawings, A B C represent three circular receptacles, the upper portions-oil which project slightly;
ve vthe surface 3 of the stand. -The central receptacle C is designed to hold 'a sponge saturated with water, lle the two outside receptacles A B are provided with covers a, and are intended -to receveink'of the sume Jf' different colors. On one side of the stand projects a curved trough or shelf?, D, of the form seen, which ves as a repository for pens with their handles, when 'not in use. E, g. 2, is a coverfortlie sponge-receptacle C.
By placing a pen-rack, D, on each side of the receptacles A B C, and using removable'instead of stationary 'ers a, or reversing the cover to one of them, the sbove-described apparatus is suitable for use for a double desk.

What I claim as my invention, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
The within-described design for a combined inkstand, sponge-cup, and pen-rsck, substantially as shown.
