Letters Patent No. 105,219, lated July 12, 1870.
IMPROVEMENT IN soLDERING-KIT.
- The Schedule referred to in these Lettera Patent and'makng part of the same.
To all 'whom yit muy concern Be it-known that LMIOHAEL D. KELLY, of Cadiz, in the county of 'lrigg and State of Kentucky, have invented a new and improved Solder-Kit; and I do hereby declare that the following is a full, clear, and Aexact description thereof, which will enable others skilled in the art to make and use the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawing forming part of this specication.
This invent-ion relates to a new and improved solder-holding apparatus, and consists in a glass bottle for holding the acids .and other substances .used by watch-makers for fluxes, and one or more boxes for holding the solder, so combined in one appalatus that .the broad box for the solder serves for a standand Vtles are also often broken by falling over upon hard substances, or rolling off the bench.
I propose, therefore, as a means of preserving the bottles, and also for keeping the acids and solder together for convenience when they are required for use, to provide these bottles A with broad flat stands, of circular or other form, and, preferably, also of glass, withoavities or recesses to hold the solder, so that the acid and solder will always be together when wanted, and the bottle will be prevented from tipping over. v

I claim asnew and desire to secure by Let-ters` Patentf The solder-kit, consisting of the bottle A and stand B, the latter provided with the revolving cover E, with receptacles o1 chambers for the solder, and with a eir- :ular opening for said bottle, all arranged substantiall y as shown and described.
