DESIGN FOR A BICYCLE-SADDLE.
SPECIFICATION forming part Of Design N0. 27,813, dated November 2, 1897.
APPHGM'IOH filed August 21, 1897- Serial NO. 6491083. Term of patent, 7 years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, JONATHAN A. HUNT, a citizen of the United States, residing at Westborough, in the county of \Voreester and State of Massachusetts, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Bi cycle-Saddles, of which the following is a specification, reference being bad to the accoinpanyin g drawings, forming a part thereof. My invention relates to a bicycle-saddle; and it consists in a new and original design for a saddle, as will be hereinafter fully described. Referring to the drawings, Figure 1 is a plan View of a bicycle-saddle showing my design, and Fig. 2 is a rear edge View of the same.
The leading feature of my design for a bicycle-saddle consists ofa single raised or elevated cushion-surface extending across the top of the saddle to form the seat, and a recess or depression in the front part of this raised surface and a recess or depression in the rear part or edge of the raised surface, said two depressions in the raised surface or seat not being connected.
In the accompanying drawings is a bicycle saddle showing my design of the raised surface or seat'L' The seat 1 is a single cushionsurface which extends across the top of the saddle and has the longitudinal or elongated recess or depression 2 therein at the front part thereof and the recess or depression 3 therein at the rear part or edge thereof. Said two depressions 2 and 3 are not connected.
\Vhat I claim is-- The design for a bicycle-saddle, substantially as shown and described.
