DESIGN FOR A COTTON-TIE BUCKLE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 24,754, dated October 15, 1895. Application filed September 10, 1895- Serial No. 562,112. Term of patent 14 years.
To all whom it may concern.-
Be ,it known that I, JOHN FRANCIS CLARK, a citizen of the United States, residing at New Orleans, in the parish of Orleans and State of Louisiana, have invented a new and original Design for Cotton-Tie Buckles, of which the following is a specification. This invention relates to a new and original its object to provide a design of this character that shall be both useful and ornamental.
The leading feature of the design resides in a Hat body provided at its longitudinal side edges and on one of its fiat faces with continuous longitudinal superficial rounded ribs, 2. series of parallel transversely-disposed oblong figures arranged between the superficial ribs, one of said figures being provided at one end with an acute angle or V-shaped portion, and an obliquely-disposed open space leading from one of the oblong figures to one end of the flat body and bounded between parallel oblique lines.
In the drawings, Figure 1 is a plan View of a buckle embodying the herein-described deopen space 8 leads from one side of one of the figures 3 out to one end of the body 1, and is bounded between the parallel oblique lines 7.
What I claim is- The design for a cottontie buckle herein shown and described.
