DESIGN FOR A ROCKING-CHAIR.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 24,301, dated May 14, 189 5. Application filed April 1 1. 1895. Serial No. 545,401. Term of patent 7 years.

To all whom it may concern.-

Be itknown that I, FRANK P. HARDEN, a eitizen of the United States, residing at Boston, in the county of Suffolk and State of Massachusetts, have invented and produced a new and original Design for RockingChairs, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing.

My invention relates to a new design for rocking chairs, and it consists in the unitary design as herewith shown.

In the accompanying drawing, which illustrates my invention, a represents the back which is rounded at its upper corners.

6, represents the seat and the sides 0, extend vertically downward therefrom and are provided with openings d. At the lower edges of the sides are the rockers e. The frontf is also provided with an opening g and with downwardly extending curved arms or brackets h, which fit against the inner sides of the rockers.

The chair is formed entire of a thin material and presents a neat attractive appearance.

Having thus described my invention, I claim The design for a rocking chair, substantially as herein described and shown.
