DESIGN FOR AN ICE-PICK.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design NO. 22,394, dated May 2, 1893. Application filed March 11 1893. Serial No. 465,646- Term of patent 7 years To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that we, J osIAH AUSTICE and WARREN E. WARNER, of Rochester, in the county of Monroe, and NELSON R. STREETER, of Groton, in the county of Tompkins, State of New York, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Designs for Ice- Picks; and we do hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the invention, such as will enable others skilled in the art to which it pertains to make and use it, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, which forms part of this specification.
Our invention relates to improvements in designs for ice picks of which following is a full description.
The accompanying drawing is a perspective view of an ice pick which embodies our invention.
A is the handle portion having at one end a cross piece or head B, one end of which has a circular portion 0, roughened as shown. The opposite end of this cross piece B is provided with a spear or pointed portion D, and at the outer edge of this part B, are the iongitudinal projecting portions E. The outer ends of these longitudinal projections E, are flattened as shown, to form a knife edge.
Having thus described our design, what we claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
The design for an ice pick, substantially as herein shown and described.
