DESIGN FOR TRIMMING.

SPECIFIGATION forming part of Design No. 21,831, dated September 6, 1892. Application filed July 29,1892. Serial No. 441,622. Term of patent 8% years.

To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, JosEPH W. SCHLoss, a citizen of the United States, residing at New York, in the county of New York and State of New York, have invented a certain newand original Design for Fur Trimming, of which the following is afull, clear, and exaotdesoription.

My new and original design is for fur t1'im ming.

The figure is a side elevation of fur trimming embodying the design.

The features of the design are, first, of a fur band-like figure A, having its hair a standing substantially at right angles to the length of the band; second, abraided band-like figure B, arranged along one side or edge of the fur band, and, third, a braided oordlike figure C, arranged upon the face of the fur band and along one side, portions of which project across and beyond the band B, the parts whioh so project being forined into groups b of loops. Between the groups and upon the face of the fur band the eord is forined intol single loops b', thus giving a unique and ornamental appearanoe to the trimming, as illustrated in the drawing.

I am aware of a design for fur trimniing in which the first and second features above nientioned of my design are shown; but the leading feature of my design is the eord-like figure C, arranged as deseribed and in connection With the other features.

I claim- The design for fur trinuning herein shown and desoribed.
