LEO PRANHE, (lF BROOKLYN, NEW YORK.
DESIGN FOR A BUTTON.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. &
'anuary 26, 1892.
Application filed December 18 1891. Serial No. 415$. ierui of patent 3% years.
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, LEO PRANGE, 0f Brooklyn, Kings county, and State of New York, have originated and produced a new Design for Buttons, of which the following is a specification.
I will describe a button embodying my design.
In the accompanying drawings, Figure 1 is a front View of a circular button embodying my design. Fig. 2 is a perspective side View thereof.
My design comprises a central flower-like ornament composed of a central jewel-shaped figure A and a number of jewel shaped figures B, representing leaves or petals radiating therefrom. Small jewel-shaped fig ures C are arranged between the outer extrelnities of the figures B. Semi-elliptical figures D extend toward the leaves or petal- ]ike figures B. Between these semi-elliptical figures D are arc-shaped lines E. The semielliptical figures D are shown as made up of small jewel-like figures. The arc-shaped lines E are here made to represent rope or cord. Two substantially triangular figures are formed by the combination of the figures already described, and the centers of these substantially triangular figures are representations F of jewels.
The surface of the button embraced by the semi-elliptical and the substantially triangular figures may be covered with small lines.
What I claim, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
The design forabuttomasherein described and shown.
In testimony whereof I have signed my name to this specification in the presence of two subscribing witnesses.
S. 0. EDMONDS, WM. M. ILIFF.
