DESIGN FOR A CHILDS BONNET.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 18,757, dated November 27, 1888.
Application filed March ll, 1887, Serial No. 231,781,
To ail whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, ELIZA JANE LYNUH, of New York, in the county of New York, and in the State of New York, have invented a certai n new and useful Design fcraChildsBonnet; and I do hereby declare that the following is a full, clear, and exact description thereof, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, in which is shown in side elevation a bonnetof my design.
The principal feature of my design consists in the general shape of the bonnet, its front being composed of a part, A, which extends from the bottom at each side upward to and over the top, and is ornamented by parallel lines of narrow plaits a. lhe back and crown is composed of a piece, B, that extends from the rear edge of said front rearward and upward, and has its lower rear portion ornamented by narrowvertical plaits b, which terminate at asnbstantially horizontal ornamental band, b. Above said band said part has a rounded or dome shape, as shown and is ornamented by means of a number of narrow plaits, b.
Term of patent 35 years.
Around the front and bottom edge of the bonnet is a rullle, C, while other rufiies, D, are arranged upon the front A in rear of the ruflle G, and extend up each side and over the top of said front.
Having thus described I claim is- The design for a bonnet, consisting of the front A, ornamented by the parallel plaits a, the back B, having a rounded or dome'shaped upper part and ornamented by the vertical parallel plaitsb at its lower part and orna mental stitching b at the upper edge of said plails, and the front and bottom edges of the bonnet being ornamented by the rnffies G and D, as shown.
