DESIGN FOR TRIMMING.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 14,665, dated February 12, 1884.

Be it known that I, Gno. F. GMiNnER, of New York, in the county ofNew York and State of New York, have invented a certain new and useful Design for Trimming; and I do hereby declare that the following is a full, clear, and exact description thereof, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, and to the letters of reference marked thereon, which form part of this specification.
This invention relates to chenille fringe or trimming; and it consists in the design for the same, which will now be fully described with reference to the drawing, which represents a front View of my fringe or trimming.
A designatesthe heading ofthe fringe, which is provided with pendants B, arranged in sections of three, alternately, with single peudants C. The pendants B are what is known as figured chenille "-that is, they are provided with enlargements or ornaments, which may be of ball, diamond, or any other suitable shape. which are of the oblong or elliptical shape clearlyillustrated in the drawing. These figures or ornaments will as shown, depend over the pendants B, thus forming an attractive and effective pattern.
1. The design for chenille fringe or trimming, which consists of figured pendants dc pending from a heading, and alternating with pendants having laterally-projecting depending figures or ornaments, as set forth.
2. The design for chenille fringe or trimining, which consists of figured pendants depending in sections of three from a heading, and alternating with single pendants having lateral]y-projecting oblong depending figures or ornaments, as set forth.
