citizen of 'the United States, residiny at Colorado Sprinffs, in the county of El aso and State of Col-brado, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Waist and Skirt Supporters, of which the following is a specification.

This invention relates to a combined waist, skirt and hose supporter.

The obiect ofthe invention is to providev that insures perfect adjust nient and tit of the l garments at. the waistv line and that positively holds the garments against. accidental dis ilacenient.

i further object is to provide a supporter including a waist band or belt having main and auxiliary fastening devices secured thereto. some of which are adapted to cny gage the waist and skirt, respectively, and

- others the petticoat or other under garment,

provision icing also made for supporting the hose from the waist band.

A still further object of the invention is generally to ifnprove this class of devices so as to increase their utility, durability and i etliciency.

Further objects and advantages will approportions and minor details of construction may he resorted to within the scope of the iippended claims.

For a full understanding of the invention and the nierits thereof and also to acquire a knowledge of the details of construction and the means for effecting the result, reference is to be had to the followin descri tion and accompanying drawings, in wliic i:

Figure 1 is a perspective view of a supporter constructed in accordance with my invention, showing the sinne in position on the waist, the skirt and petticoat being folded back in order to expose the fastening devices on the waist hand; Fig. 2 is a vertical seetional view taken through the rear portion of the waist. hand showing the nianner of attaching the skirt and pettieoat thereto; Fig. Cl is a plan view of a portion of the waist band, the outer strip of fabric being removed in order to show the manner of attaching the main and auxiliary fastening devices or buttons in position on the waist band; Fig. 4 is a detail perspective view of one of the clamping disks or retaining the liuttons in position on the waist band; Fig. ."i is a ieispective view of the waist band or belt detached; Fig. (i is a perspective view of the waist supported button-hole or eyelet tape.

The improved supporter forming the subject inatter ofthe present invention coinprises u waistband or belt 5i forincd of thin| canvas or other suitable inatciial and having lone end thereofprovided with a buckle i3 adapted to engage. the other cud of the band when said band is positioned on the waist of the wearer.

In this connection it will bc noted t'liat the lower ends of the attaching tapes 13 extend through the lower edge of the waist band beneath the buttons ll so that the auxiliary fastening devices or buttons 2l will be suspended from the waist band in alineinent with the buttons 11 .so as to be conveniently engaged by the eyelct tapes on thc pctticoat 26.
