To all whom "it may concern:
Be it known that I, ZENO IIUDsoN, a citizen of the United States, residing at Chicago, county of Cook, and State of Illinois, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Combination Pocket-Cases, of which the following is a specification.
My invention relates to improvements in combination pocket cases and has for its object the production of a combination pocket case of improved construction and operation.
My ii'ivention consists in the combination and arrangen'ient of parts hereinafter described and claimed.
My invent-ion will be best understood by reference to the accompanying drawings forming a part of this specification, and in which,
Figure 1 is a plan view of a pocket case opened, Fig. 2, a section on line w00 of Fig. 1, and Fig. 3, a section on line y of Fig. 1.
In the preferred form of construction as illustrated in the drawings the case comprises two opposed concave case members 1 and 2 hinged together at 3. Near one end, case member 1 is provided with a transverse partition 4: dividing the interior of said member into a larger compartment 5 adapted to receive cigars and a smaller compartment (5 adapted to receive matches. The ends of compartment 6 are preferably filled with blocks or plugs 7 in order to render the open space therein rectangular and a flexible flap 8 is secured to partition 4 and adapted to fold over said space to retain matches therein.- Case member 2 is provided on its in- Specification of Letters Patent.

The pocket case as above set forth will be found to be very convenient for the use of gentlemen and will serve a multitude of uses.
IVhile I have illustrated and described the preferred form of construction for carrying my invention into effect this is capable of variation or modification without departing from the spirit of the invention. I, therefore, do notwish to be limited to the exact details of construction set forth but desire to avail myself of such variations and modifications as come within the scope of the appended claim.
Having described my invention what I claim as new and desire to secure by Letters Patent is:
A combination pocket case comprising a pair of concave case members hingedly connected, a partition in one of said members near one end dividing it into two compartments, one adapted to receive cigars and the other matches, blocks fixed in the ends of said match compartment, and a flexible flap of greater width than the space between said blocks and adapted to fold over said match compartment, with the edges resting on said blocks, substantially as described.
