To all' whom it may concern: Be it known that I, MARY A. ENGEL, citiof America, residing State of Pennsylvania, have inventedcertain new and useful Improvements in Baskets, of which the following is a specification, reference being had therein to the accompanying drawin '.lhe invention relates to certain new and useful improvements in clothes baskets, and the invention has for its object theprovision of lnovel means in connection with a clothes basket for housing clothes pins commonly psed for suspending clothes upon a clothes ine.

My invention aims to provide a basket having compartments formed ljfierein conably connected to the basket, whereby they may be removed and Washed.

The detail construction of my improved r`basket will be presently described and then specifically pointed out in the claims.

In the accom anying drawing, I have illustrated a basketl having side walls 2 and Haring end walls 3, said end walls being provided with suitable handles 4. At the ends of thebasket, I form vertically'disposed partitions 5, said plartitions. forming end compartments 6 in w bags 7 are mounted adapted to contain artic .bers

bags being constructed of a suitable durable fabric and provided with draw strings, 8, whereby the bags can be closed. The bags 7 are provided with clasp members 9 adapted to engage clasp members 10, suitably ar ranged. within the -compartments 6, said lclasp members being similar to an ordinary glove clasp. The bags 7 of my improved basket are adapted to contain clothes pins and prevent the pins freni being lost or scattered among the clothes contained within the basket. By placing the pins in special compartments within the basket the trouble of carrying the pins separately is obviated, and the pins can always be found when needed.
