TO ALL WHO IT MAY CONGERN:
, Beit known thatl, GEORGE HART, of New Bedfordrin the county of Bristol, in the State of Massachusetts, have invented a. newanld improved Traveller, to be used in connection with Devices for Furling and Reeting Sails; and I do hereby declare that the following is a. fallend exa-ct description thereof, reference being had to the neeompnnying drawings, and to the letters of eferencemnrlied thereon.
My invention consists in the application of friction-rolls to travellers for hauling in and out the sails of vessels:
