SPECIFICATION forming part of Letters Patent No. 740,001, dated September 29, 1903.

Application filed January 16,1903. Serial No. 139,342. (N0 mvdeL) To all whom it may concern.-

Be it known that I, Hnsscnn HENDERSON FLANAe1N,.a citizen of the United States, re-

siding at Bellaire, in the county of Antrim and State. of Michigan, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Store-Cabinets; and I do hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the invention, such as will enable others skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, and to the figures of reference marked thereon, which form a part of this specification.

This invention relates particularly to cabinets for containing and displaying rolls of dry goods, such as silks, trimmings, and the like; and the object of the invention is to produce a cabinet which when closed will effectually protect the goods from light and dirt and when open will display all its contents for convenient observation and selection.

A further object of the invention is to pro-- duce a cabinet having large capacity in proportion to its size.

With these and other objects in View an embodiment of the invention is hereinafter described and is illustrated in the accom'pa nying drawings, in which Figure 1 is a perspective of thecabinet closed. Fig. 2 is a similar viewof the cabinet open, and Fig. 3 is a horizontal section.

Referring specifically to the drawings, the cabinet includes an upright rectangular casing, of which the door is indicated at 6, this" and the back 9 of the casing are all provided with rollers 10, adapted to receive the goods,

which latter then closes the casing, as shown in Fig. 1, making a practically dust and light proofcabinet for the purpose indicated. The infolding construction saves space and yet does not prevent the goods from being readily displayed and got at.

The construction or ornamentation of the cabinet may be as elaborate as the maker or user may desire, but the essential features are as above set out.

What I claim as new, and desire to secure by LettersPatent, is- 1. A cabinet comprising a casing, having a door, a frame hinged at one edge thereof and adapted to swing within the casing, and

a series of rolls on each side of said frame.

2. A cabinet comprising a casing, having a door hinged to one side thereof, a swinging section hinged to the other side and forming part of the inclosing side wall of the casing, and display devices carried by said parts.

3. A cabinet comprising a casing, a frame hinged to one side thereof and adapted to swing within the casing, a door hinged to the other side, and rollers supported on the back of the casing,-both sides of the frame, and the inside of the door.
