The present invention is directed to the same subject matter as the aforementioned French patent, but the means utilized therefor are still more eliicient and simple and ensure a considerable freedom of movement of the burner, notably when it is desired to move it to positions or inclinations permitting an easy access to the different component elements to be checked, repaired or replaced. Moreover, the same means also facilitate the movements of the burner when it is desired to remove same completely in relation to the front face of the generator.
The mounting constitutingk the subject-matter of `this invention is characterized mainly in that it comprises:
At least one burner-supporting` bracket secured to the l front of the generator;
A track provided on this support; l Rollers mounted on the burner and engaging the track; Stop or locking means for holding the rollers against movement at a predetermined point along the track, and, If desired, stop means for limiting the inclination of the burner in relation to its support, this kmovement to the predetermined inclined position resulting from the combination f two movements of the burner in relation to the front of the generator, that is,'a movement of translation and a movement of rotation wherein the bearing and fulcrum points are the aforesaid track-engaging rollers. According to a particularly advantageous embodiment of the invention, the mounting comprises two supports in the form of vertical brackets, disposed on either side of the burner, the burner being adapted to rock between the brackets when it is moved to the Vdesired inclined position, the brackets comprising `at their upper portion` a track bounded by front and rear stops and adapted to receive two pair-s of rollers mounted on the lower portion of the burner and disposed on either side thereof.V
According to a speciticfeature of this embodiment the stops limiting the stroke of the rollers-atthe end of the track are so disposed that they act at the same time as hinge means for one or the other set of rollers carried by the burner.
According to another feature of this typical embodiment, the aforesaid rollers are so positioned in relation to the burner body that the latter is constantly in a condition of stable equilibrium irrespective of the positions Vof the burner relative to its support. Y

In the embodiment shown in FIG. lythe reference numeral 1 designates generally the burnerprovided with a handle 2, the front wall of a generator chamber adapted for mounting the burner being designated by the reference numeral 3. In the figures, 4 is the front end of a nozzle, 5 a burner mouth projecting into the generator chamber through an aperture (notches) in wallS, 6 a regulator unit and 7 an ignition transformer. Itis clear that'with known hinge mountings itis not possible to extract the burner mouth to a limited extent from the interior of the generator, the case being stopped after, a relatively short pivoting movement. On the other hand,-with known piv-4 and a movement of rotation, is utilized in the handling of the burner.
l To this end, the burner comprises on its lower portion f two pairs of like- sized rollers 8, 9 disposed on either sideV of the vertical plane of `symmetry of the burner, these rollers respectively engaging a pair of lateral supports 10 k(only one shown), constituting'apair of vertical brackets n secured on Athe front wall 3 of the generator and flanking the transformer 7. The sloping of the tracks also tends to maintain the front rollers 9j in positive engagement with the hook-shaped stops 12.
In the specific embodiment illustrated the tracks 1,1 are .l provided at their front end with hinge-forming stops'12` and at their rear end with hinge-forming stops 13, only .one each of thepairs of stops 12 and 13 on the symmetrically disposed supports 10 are illustrated. The separation of the roller pairs S and 9 is substantially lessfthan the spacing between the front and rear stops 12, 13.

A subsequent rotation of the burner assembly inthe counterclockwise direction yabout the horizontal axis `of the rear rollers 8 will then bring the assembly to the -position illustrated in FIG. 2. Fixed stop means such as an abutment 14,provided in the vertical brackets 10 directly underneath the rear stop 13,.Will limit the angular movement of the burner to a suitable position sufcient to permit a properV inspection of the burner head.` The stops 13, being hook-shaped, have formations 13 which overlie the rollers 8 (or 9) to prevent their lifting off the tracks 11 during the pivoting yof the burner.
It will be noted that in the case illustrated inV FIGS. 1 and 2 of the drawing the vertical line coincident with the center of gravity is so positioned that in either case the vburner assembly is in a condition of stable equilibrium. Thus, the center of gravity 15, whose normal Ylocation isintermediate the roller pairs 8 and 9,' swings past the rear rollers 8 as the burner is pivoted into the position of FIG. 2.
However, it is also possible as shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, after the burner assembly has been moved through only a part of its backward movement of translation, to lift this assembly slightly from the rear (Le. to swing it clockwise) and to free the rollers 8 from the rear hinge-forming stops`13. Under these conditions, and if the movement of translation is thereupon continued tothe rear, the rollers 9 will engage vthe rear hinge-'forming stops 13. Having thus completed its stroke, the' burner assembly can be rotated in the clockwise and the counter-clockwise direction to the positions shown in FIGS. 3 and 4,
respectively. It will be noted that in the two cases illustrated in these figuresv the stop 14 acts likewise as Va means for limiting the inclination of the burner assembly, on-being engaged by a surface 1 rformed by a botf tom edge of the burner body,` anda vertical plane passshown and described herein; thus, notably the design of the supports 10 may be modied by substituting therefore, for example, lateral rails or races carried byrinteriitting anges or ythe like.

On the other hand, although inthe embodiment illustrated the supports 2 are secured on the front wall 3 of the combustion chamber of a generator, it would not constitute a departure from the principles of this invention to provide supports secured directly in the underlying ground or door.
Finally, the position of the handle 2 is arbitrary, for it could as well be secured in any other position on the burner assembly, for example in a horizontal plane instead of a vertical plane.
What I claim is:
1. In a generator having an apertured Wall for receiving the mouth of anA externally positioned burner, the combinationlwith saidV burner of a mounting therefor including support means adjacent said wall forming at least two substantially horizontal tracks,y front and rear stop means rising from at least one of said tracks at locations relatively close to and relatively remote fromv said wall, respectively; front and rear roller` means on said burner normally resting on said tracks for stably supporting said burner thereon, said front and rear stop Ymeans being more widely separated than said front and rear roller means and Vbeing respectively engageable by the later in an operative position in which ,the burner mouth projects lthrough said wall and an inoperative position in which-thc burner mouth is withburner on said rear roller means upon the latter coni tacting said rear stop means and said formation.
2. The combination dened in claim 1 wherein said rear stop means comprises ahook-shaped projection on said support means, said formation being part of said projection.
3. The combination defined in claim 1 wherein saidfront roller means is of substantially the same size as said rear roller means and engageable by said rear stop means upon a lifting of said rear roller means from said tracks and subsequent rearward displacement of said burner.
4. In a generator having an -apertured wall for receiving 1 the mouth of an externally positioned burner, the combination with said lburner of a mounting therefor including support means adjacent said wallforming at least two substantially horizontal tracks;,front yand rear Vstop means rising from at least one of said tracks at locations relatively close to and relatively remote from said wall, respectively;
` front and rear roller means on said burner normally rest- Y ing on said tracks for stably supporting said burner theredirection, thereby enabling pivotal movement of said burner on said rear roller means upon the latter contacting said rear stop means and said formation; and abutment means on said support means below said tracks, said burner having a surface engageable with said abutment means in at least one limiting position of said pivotal movement.
5. The combination defined in claim 4 wherein said` front roller means is of substantially the same size as said rear roller means andV engageable by said rear stop means upon a lifting of said -rear roller means from said tracks and subsequent rearward displacement of said burner, said abutment means being also engageable by said surface upon a pivoting of said-burner about said rear roller means with the latter contacting said rear stop means and said formation.
6. The combination deiined in claim 5 wherein said abutment means is positioned directly underneath said rear stop means, said surface being part of a bottom edge of said burner coming to rest against said abutment means upon a swinging thereof about either of said roller means.
7. In -a generator having an apertured wall for receiving the mouth of an externally positioned burner provided with a bottom appendage, the combination with said burner of a mounting therefor including a pair of brackets adjacent said wall anking said bottom appendage and two substantially horizontal tracks; front and rear stops rising from each track at locations relatively close to land relatively remote from said wall, respectively; front and rear roller pairs on said burner normally resting on said tracks for stably supporting said burner thereon, said front and rear stops being more widely separated than said front and rear roller pairs and being respectively engageable by the latter in an operative position in which the burner mount projects through said wall and an inoperative position in which the burner mouth is withdrawn from said wall; and a formation on each of said brackets above said tracks overlying only said rear roller pairs in said inoperative position while leaving said front roller means freely movable in an opened direction, thereby enabling pivotal movement of said burner on said rear roller pair upon the latter contacting said rear Stops and said formations.V
8. In a generator having an apertured wall for receiving the mouth of an externally positioned burner provided with a bottom appendage, the combination with said burner of a mounting therefor including a pair of brackets adjacent said wall flanking said bottom appendage and two substantially horizontal tracks; front and rear stops rising from each track at locations relatively close to and relatively remote from said wall, respectively; front and rear roller pairs on said burner normally resting on said tracks for stably supporting said burner thereon, said front and projects through said wall and an inoperative position in which the burner mouth is withdrawn from said wall; al
ment of said burner on said rear roller pair upon the latter contacting said rear stops and said formations; `and abut-Y ment means on said brackets below said track, said burner having lateral bottom edges engageable with said abutment means in at least one limiting position of said pivotal movement.
9. The combination dened in claim 8 wherein each of said stops comprises a hook-shaped projection on each'ofsaid brackets, said formation being part of the projection j constituting each of said rear stops, said tracks slowing rear stops being more widely separated than said front and rear roller pairs land being respectively engageable by the latter in an operative position in which the burner mouth downwardly 'toward said front stops, thereby tending to maintain said front rollers positively engaged by said front stops. 10. The combination defined in claim 9 wherein -said front roller pair are of substantially the same size as said rear roller pair and engageable by said rear stops upon a lifting of said rear roller pair from said tracks and subsequent rearward displacement of said burner, saidabutment means being also engageable by said bottom edges upon a pivoting of said burner about said rear roller means with the latter contacting said rear stop means and said formation.

1. IN A GENERATOR HAVING AN APERTURED WALL FOR RECEIVING THE MOUTH OF AN EXTERNALLY POSITIONED BURNER, THE COMBINATION WITH SAID BURNER OF A MOUNTING THEREFOR INCLUDING SUPPORT MEANS ADJACENT SAID WALL FORMING AT LEAST TWO SUBSTANTIALLY HORIZONTAL TRACKS, FRONT AND REAR STOP MEANS RISING FROM AT LEAST ONE OF SAID TRACKS AT LOCATIONS RELATIVELY CLOSE TO AND RELATIVELY REMOTE FROM SAID WALL, RESPECTIVELY; FRONT AND REAR ROLLER MEANS ON SAID BURNER NORMALLY RESTING ON SAID TRACKS FOR STABLY SUPPORTING SAID BURNER THEREON, SAID FRONT AND REAR STOP MEANS BEING MORE WIDELY SEPARATED THAN SAID FRONT AND REAR ROLLER MEANS AND BEING RESPECTIVELY ENGAGEABLE BY THE LATTER IN AN OPERATIVE POSITION IN WHICH THE BURNER MOUTH PROJECTS THROUGH SAID WALL AND AN INOPERATIVE POSITION IN WHICH THE BURNER MOUTH IS WITHDRAWN FROM SAID WALL; AND A FORMATION ON SAID SUPPORT MEANS ABOVE SAID ONE OF SAID TRACKS OVERLYING ONLY SAID REAR ROLLER MEANS IN SAID INOPERATIVE POSITION WHILE LEAVING SAID FRONT ROLLER MEANS FREELY MOVABLE IN AN UPWARD
