Description

    BACKGROUND Field of the Invention
  • The present invention relates to a sealing structure, and more particularly to a container and a cover having a sealing structure.
  • Related Prior Art
  • In order to prevent external dust and dirt from contaminating the food and drinks in the container, the opening of the container needs to be sealed with a cover. However, when the conventional cover is placed on the container, the fit between the cover and the container is low, which results in poor sealing. Furthermore, when the container is made of flexible soft material, the container will be easily deformed due to external force and the cover will fall off, or when the pressure in the container is generated due to the high temperature of food or drink, the cover will also fall off due to the pressure generated inside the container. Therefore, a sealing structure that allows the container to closely fit the cover is required.
  • The present invention has arisen to mitigate and/or obviate the afore-described disadvantages.
  • SUMMARY
  • The present invention provides a container and a cover having a sealed structure, the objective of which is to enable the container and the cover to closely fit together.
  • To achieve the above objective, a container and a cover having a sealing structure provided by the invention comprises:
  • the container including a bottom and a side wall having one end connected to the bottom to form a space, and another end of the side wall that is not connected to the bottom is defined as an open end, the side wall having an inner surface and an outer surface, the inner surface faces the space, the outer surface is opposite to the inner surface, and the inner surface has a first hook portion;
  • the cover disposed at the open end of the container and made of a flexible material, wherein the cover has a covering portion and a second hook portion, the covering portion covers the open end, and the second hook portion is hooked on the first hook portion.
  • As can be seen from the foregoing, the covering portion tightly covers the open end, and the second hook portion is hooked to the first hook portion, so that the coupling between the cover and the container is more stable.
  • In a first embodiment of the invention, the covering portion includes an outer section, a top section and an inner section connected one another in sequence, the outer section is closely abutted against the outer surface, the inner section is closely abutted against the inner surface.
  • The cover has an abutting portion connected to the inner section, the abutting portion has an abutting surface facing the inner surface of the side wall, and the second hook portion is connected to the abutting portion.
  • The abutting surface and the inner surface are abutted against each other or separated as a pressure in the container changes.
  • It can be seen from the foregoing that the abutting portion faces the inner surface so that the pressure in the container can press the abutting portion and the side wall, thereby maintaining the tightness of the container and the cover. The pressure inside the container prevents the cover from detached. If you want to open the cover, you can only apply force to the cover. More specifically, you can hook the second hook portion to the first hook portion to make the coupling between the cover and the container more stable.
  • These together with other objects of the invention, along with the various features of novelty which characterize the invention, are pointed out with particularity in the claims annexed to and forming a part of this disclosure. For a better understanding of the invention, its operating advantages and the specific objects attained by its uses, reference should be had to the accompanying drawings and descriptive matter in which there are illustrated preferred embodiments of the invention.

  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION
  • The present invention will be clearer from the following description when viewed together with the accompanying drawings, which show, for purpose of illustrations only, the preferred embodiment in accordance with the present invention.
  • Referring to FIGS. 1-5, a container and a cover having a sealing structure in accordance with the present invention, comprises: the container 10 and the cover 20.
  • The container 10 includes a bottom 11 and a side wall 12 having one end connected to the bottom 11 to form a space 13, and another end of the side wall 12 that is not connected to the bottom 11 is defined as an open end 121. The side wall 12 has an inner surface 12A and an outer surface 12B, the inner surface 12A faces the space 13, the outer surface 12B is opposite to the inner surface 12A, and the inner surface 12A has a first hook portion 14.
  • The cover 20 is provided at the open end 121 of the container 10 and is made of a flexible material. The cover 20 has a covering portion 21 and a second hook portion 23, the covering portion 21 covers the open end 121 to form a fastening force, and the second hook portion 23 is hooked on the first hook portion 14.
  • Preferably, the first hook portion 14 has a first stop surface 141 which faces the bottom 11, and the second hook portion 23 has a second stop surface 231 which is abutted against the first stop surface 141, so that the cover 20 is not easily separated from the container 10.
  • Preferably, the first hook portion 14 and the second hook portion 23 are a concave-convex combination.
  • Preferably, the open end 121 has a fixing ring 30 made of a metal material to increase the strength of the open end 121 of the container 10.
  • Preferably, the open end 121 has an end surface 121A connected between the inner surface 12A and the outer surface 12B, and the covering portion 21 has a covering surface 211 closely abutted against the end surface 121A to generate a tightening force.
  • In the first embodiment of the present invention, as shown in FIGS. 1 to 3, wherein:
  • The covering portion 21 includes an outer section 21A, a top section 21B and an inner section 21C connected one another in sequence, the outer section 21A is closely abutted against the outer surface 12B, the inner section 21C is closely abutted against the inner surface 12A, thereby generating a fastening force, and the covering surface 211 is located on the top section 21B.
  • The cover 20 has an abutting portion 22 connected to the inner section 21C, the abutting portion 22 has an abutting surface 221 facing the inner surface 12A of the side wall 12, and the second hook portion 23 is connected to the abutting portion 22.
  • By such arrangements, the abutting surface 221 and the inner surface 12A are abutted against each other or separated as the pressure in the container 10 changes.
  • Preferably, a distance between the outer section 21A and the inner section 21C is a first distance D1, a width of the side wall 12 is a second distance D2, and an insertion space 24 is defined between the outer section 21A and the inner section 21C. Before the cover 20 is placed on the container 10, that is, before the open end 121 is inserted in the insertion space 24, the first distance D1 is smaller than the second distance D2, since the cover 20 is made of a flexible material, therefore, when the open end 121 enters the insertion space 24, the insertion space 24 will be slightly expanded, so that when the open end 121 fully enters the insertion space 24, the insertion space 24 can assume a vacuum state, which makes the outer section 21A and the inner section 21C abutted more tightly against the side wall 12.
  • As can be seen from the foregoing, when the temperature or steam in the space 13 generates pressure in the space 13, the pressure toward the cover 20 will provide the force to detach the cover 20, but the pressure toward the abutting portion 22 will push the abutting portion 22 to press closely against the side wall 12 to strengthen the sealing between the cover 20 and the container 10. Since the pressure has no directionality, the pressure toward the upper edge of the cover 20 is equal to the pressure toward the abutting portion 22, so that the forces of the components cancel each other, and as a result, the pressure inside the container 10 does not affect the sealing of the container 10 and the cover 20.
  • A container and a cover having a sealing structure in accordance with the second embodiment of the present invention, as shown in FIG. 4, comprises: The covering portion 21 includes the outer section 21A, the top section 21B and the inner section 21C connected one another in sequence, the outer section 21A is closely abutted against the outer surface 12B, the inner section 21C is closely abutted against the inner surface 12A, thereby generating a fastening force. The covering surface 211 is located on the top section 21B, and the second hook portion 23 is connected to the inner section 21C.
  • A container and a cover having a sealing structure in accordance with the third embodiment of the present invention, as shown in FIG. 5, comprises: The covering portion 21 includes the top section 21B and the inner section 21C connected each other in sequence, the inner section 21C is closely abutted against the inner surface 12A to generate a fastening force, and the covering surface 211 is located on the top section 21B.
  • While we have shown and described various embodiments in accordance with the present invention, it is clear to those skilled in the art that further embodiments may be made without departing from the scope of the present invention.
