Definitions
- the present invention relates to the technology field of peripheral products for cigar, and more particularly to a cigar holder device.
- cigar is the most famous export product of Cuba. Manufacturing process of a cigar simply includes steps of (1) cultivation of tobacco, (2) curing tobacco leaves to induce the cigar's characteristic aroma, (3) fermentation of the cured tobacco leaves, and (4) rolling and wrapping the tobacco leaves to a cigar.
- quality cigars are still handmade.
- An experienced cigar-roller can produce hundreds of good, nearly identical cigars per day.
- the rollers keep the tobacco moist-especially the wrapper—and use specially designed crescent-shaped knives, called chavetas, to form the filler and wrapper leaves quickly and accurately.
- the cigars are stored in wooden forms as they dry, in which their uncapped ends are cut to a uniform size. From this stage, the cigar is a complete product that can be “laid down” and aged for decades if kept as close to 21° C. (70° F.), and 70% relative humidity.
- FIG. 1 shows a stereo diagram of a cigar.
- commercial cigar 1 ′ commonly has a head end 11 ′ and a foot end 12 ′.
- a user needs to light the foot end 12 ′ by flame, and then uses his mouth to suck the head end 11 ′.
- broadleaf wrapper of the cigar may sometimes be strong on the user's tongue, causing the tongue feel uncomfortable after the smoke.
- cigar holder is accordingly developed for being used as interface between the user's mouth and the cigar head.
- FIG. 2 shows a stereo diagram of a cigar that is connected with a conventional a cigar holder.
- the cigar holder 2 ′ When using the cigar holder 2 ′ to smoke a cigar 1 ′, the cigar holder 2 ′ is connected to the head end 11 ′ of the cigar 1 ′ by a receiving opening 21 ′ thereof, such that the user is able to smoke the cigar 1 ′ by using his mouth to suck a suction nozzle 22 ′ of the cigar holder 2 ′.
- the primary objective of the present invention is to disclose a cigar holder device, comprising: a dish-shaped body, a bottom platform, and a plurality of inserting members.
- the bottom platform is formed in the dish-shaped body, and the inserting members are vertically disposed on the bottom platform.
- a central through hole is formed on the bottom platform.
- cigar smoke flows through the central through hole and the peripheral through holes, such that a user is able to inhale the cigar smoke under the separation of the cigar holder device.
- tobacco scraps are prevented from falling into the user's mouth during smoking the cigar, and the user's tongue would not feel uncomfortable. Therefore, by using this cigar holder device to smoke a cigar, the user is guaranteed to inhale cigar smoke at a comfortable state.
- inventors of the present invention provides an embodiment for the cigar holder device, comprising:
- connecting ribs there are a plurality of connecting ribs disposed between the round side wall and the bottom platform, thereby letting any two of the plurality of peripheral through holes be isolated by one connecting rib.
- the center through hole has a shape that is selected from the group consisting of circular shape, elliptical shape, triangle shape, and polygon shape.
- the peripheral through hole PTH is arc-shaped, and each of the plurality of inserting members and the center through hole CTH are apart a second spacing distance.
- the dish-shaped body comprises:
- the bottom platform comprises:
- first connecting member and the eighth connecting member constitute a first adjustment mechanism
- second connecting member and the third connecting member constitute a second adjustment mechanism
- fourth connecting member and the fifth connecting member constitute a third adjustment mechanism
