Abstract

A straight shooter lighter system including a lighter and a straight shooter pipe. The lighter includes a spark wheel, a flame opening, an actuator, and a housing. The housing includes the lighter fluid storage chamber and the storage compartment. The storage compartment is configured to house the straight shooter pipe for removeable use. The lighter fluid storage chamber stores lighter fluid. The straight shooter pipe is configured to host a smoking substance for smoking. The lighter produces a flame for combustion of the smoking substance to be smoked and for inhalation through the straight shooter pipe. The device provides a convenient lighter and smoking device combination.

    CROSS REFERENCE TO RELATED APPLICATION
  • The present application is related to and claims priority to U.S. Provisional Patent Application No. 62/591,470 filed Nov. 28, 2017, which is incorporated by reference herein in its entirety.
  • BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • The following includes information that may be useful in understanding the present disclosure. It is not an admission that any of the information provided herein is prior art nor material to the presently described or claimed inventions, nor that any publication or document that is specifically or implicitly referenced is prior art.
  • 1. Field of the Invention
  • The present invention relates generally to the field of smoking accessories and more specifically relates to lighters and pipes.
  • 2. Description of Related Art
  • Lighters, pipes, rolling papers, etc. are all separate items people can use for smoking. Having to keep track of each item in order to smoke can be frustrating. People may end up losing a favorite pipe or lighter if he/she does not store all items in one consistent location. Some people may end up having to use rolling papers to smoke, and these papers can contain harmful chemical substances and detract from the taste of tobacco. A suitable solution is desired.
  • U.S. Pat. No. 8,505,547 to Fan Bao relates to a pipe lighter. The described pipe lighter comprising a lighter apparatus coupling with an inhaler apparatus. The inhaler apparatus includes a crucible unit coupled with the housing sidewall of the lighter housing and a tubular inhaling guider extended from the crucible unit, wherein the crucible unit has a substance chamber positioned adjacent to a flame opening of the lighter apparatus for retaining a smoking substance in the substance chamber, and a burner unit which is sized to fittingly and complimentarily engaging with the crucible unit to cover and evenly distribute the heat inside the substance chamber, thereby the smoking is evenly burnt which is then guided to flow towards the tubular inhaling guider. The pipe lighter is compact in size which is substantively the same size as a disposable lighter and is convenience to carry and use.
  • BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • In view of the foregoing disadvantages inherent in the known smoking accessory art, the present disclosure provides a novel straight shooter lighter system. The general purpose of the present disclosure, which will be described subsequently in greater detail, is to provide an efficient and effective lighter with an integrated smoking pipe.
  • A straight shooter lighter system is disclosed herein. The straight shooter lighter system includes a lighter including a spark wheel, a flame opening, an actuator, a housing including a storage compartment and a lighter fluid storage chamber, and a straight shooter pipe. The lighter includes the spark wheel, the flame opening, the actuator, and the housing in functional combination. The housing includes the lighter fluid storage chamber and the storage compartment. The storage compartment configured to house the straight shooter pipe for removeable use. The lighter fluid storage chamber stores lighter fluid. The straight shooter pipe is configured to host a smoking substance for smoking. The lighter is configured to produce a flame for combustion of the smoking substance to be smoked and for inhalation through the straight shooter pipe. The device provides a lighter and smoking device combination.
  • For purposes of summarizing the invention, certain aspects, advantages, and novel features of the invention have been described herein. It is to be understood that not necessarily all such advantages may be achieved in accordance with any one particular embodiment of the invention.   • DETAILED DESCRIPTION
  • As discussed above, embodiments of the present disclosure relate to smoking accessories and more particularly to a straight shooter lighter system as used to improve the convenient use of lighters and pipes.
  • Generally, the present invention provides users with a lighter with an integrated smoking pipe, keeping both tools in a single, easy-to-find location. The device allows users to smoke tobacco and other flammable substances without the need to buy rolling papers or oversized pipes. It includes an integrated bat-style pipe with a chamber for storing the pipe on one side of the lighter. It offers a way for users to detach the pipe from the rest of the lighter to smoke and then reattached to make it back into one piece.
  • The present invention effectively eliminates the worry of losing substance flavor while smoking due to rolling papers and other inefficient smoking tools. The STRAIGHT SHOOTER LIGHTER™ is a lighter with an integrated bat-style pipe. There may be (at least) two models (versions/embodiments) for the lighter. The first model has a compartment for lighter fluid and a second for the pipe. The pipe can be removed by detaching it from pressure clasps and reattached it with minimal force. Users can light and smoke tobacco and other substances with one convenient tool. The second model includes a compartment for lighter fluid and a second compartment in which the pipe is stored. The pipe can be removed (via a method of use) by sliding open a bottom cap when the user wishes to smoke. Straight Shooter Lighter can be constructed using glass, metal, and other suitable materials (other fire-resistant materials). The lighters may be available in various sizes in order to accommodate all user needs and preferences. Further, each lighter may be available in various colors, styles, and designs.
  • Referring now more specifically to the drawings by numerals of reference, there is shown in FIGS. 1-5, various views of a straight shooter lighter system 100. FIG. 1 shows a straight shooter lighter system 100 according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. As illustrated, the straight shooter lighter system 100 may comprise a lighter 110 including a spark wheel 112, a flame opening 114, an actuator 116, a housing 120 including a storage compartment 122 and a lighter fluid storage chamber 130, and a straight shooter pipe 140.
  • The lighter 110 includes the spark wheel 112, the flame opening 114, the actuator 116, and the housing 120 in functional combination. The housing 120 includes the lighter fluid storage chamber 130 and the storage compartment 122. The storage compartment 122 is configured to house the straight shooter pipe 140 for removeable use. The lighter fluid storage chamber 130 stores lighter fluid or other suitable flammable equivalent. The straight shooter pipe 140 is configured to host a smoking substance for smoking. The lighter 110 is configured to produce a flame for combustion of the smoking substance to be smoked and for inhalation through the straight shooter pipe 140. The straight shooter pipe 140 includes a first-open-end 142 end for contacting a user's mouth for smoking and a second-open-end 144 for inserting the smoking substance. The straight shooter pipe 140 comprises a fire resistant material such as glass, metal, and other suitable materials.
  • FIG. 2 shows a perspective view of the straight shooter lighter system 100 of FIG. 1, according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. As above, the straight shooter lighter system 100 may include a first embodiment comprising the lighter 110 having a removeable straight shooter pipe 140. In this embodiment, the housing 120 of the lighter 110 further comprises a base 146 having a slidable cap 148 (non-sliding versions are also envisioned). The storage compartment 122 includes an elongated tubular profile configured within the housing 120 of the lighter 110. The storage compartment 122 is hollow and includes an open end 150 at a base-portion of the housing 120. The straight shooter pipe 140 is ejectable through the open end 150 at the base-portion of the housing 120. The slidable cap 148 is configured to cover and alternatively uncover the open end 150. The straight shooter pipe 140 comprises a substantially similar elongated tubular profile such that the straight shooter pipe 140 fits within the storage compartment 122. The housing 120 is split along a length into the storage compartment 122 and the lighter fluid storage chamber 130.
  • FIGS. 3 and 4 show perspective views of the straight shooter lighter system 100 of FIG. 1, according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. As above, the straight shooter lighter system 100 may include a second embodiment and alternative means for storing the straight shooter pipe 140. In this embodiment, a straight shooter pipe is provided in combination with a lighter 110 having a spark wheel 112, an adjusting wheel 118, a flame opening 114, an actuator 116, a housing 120 including a storage compartment 122 and a lighter fluid storage chamber 130. The storage compartment 122 is configured to house the straight shooter pipe 140 for removeable use. The storage compartment 122 comprises an open-compartment configuration. The open-compartment configuration is positioned along a length of the lighter 110. The storage compartment includes at least one clamp 152 for securing the straight shooter pipe 140 to the lighter 110. The straight shooter pipe 140 is removably attached to the lighter 110 via the at least one clamp 152. The at least one clamp 152 includes at least one pressure clasp. In this embodiment, the housing 120 of the lighter comprises a non-removeable base 146.
  • FIG. 5 shows a perspective view of the lighter of the straight shooter lighter system 100 of FIG. 1, according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. As above, the straight shooter lighter system 100 may include the lighter 110 including the spark wheel 112, the flame opening 114, the actuator 116, the housing 120 including the storage compartment 122 and the lighter fluid storage chamber 130, and the straight shooter pipe 140. The device provides a convenient lighter 110 with removeable straight shooter pipe 140.
  • The embodiments of the invention described herein are exemplary and numerous modifications, variations and rearrangements can be readily envisioned to achieve substantially equivalent results, all of which are intended to be embraced within the spirit and scope of the invention. Further, the purpose of the foregoing abstract is to enable the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and the public generally, and especially the scientist, engineers and practitioners in the art who are not familiar with patent or legal terms or phraseology, to determine quickly from a cursory inspection the nature and essence of the technical disclosure of the application.

Claims (20)

What is claimed is new and desired to be protected by Letters Patent is set forth in the appended claims:
1. A straight shooter lighter system comprising:
a lighter including;
a spark wheel;
a flame opening;
an actuator; and
a housing;
a storage compartment; and
a lighter fluid storage chamber; and
a straight shooter pipe;
wherein said lighter includes said spark wheel, said flame opening, said actuator, and said housing in functional combination;
wherein said housing includes said lighter fluid storage chamber and said storage compartment, said storage compartment configured to house said straight shooter pipe for removeable use;
wherein said lighter fluid storage chamber stores lighter fluid;
wherein said straight shooter pipe is configured to host a smoking substance for smoking; and
wherein said lighter is configured to produce a flame for combustion of said smoking substance to be smoked and for subsequent inhalation through said straight shooter pipe.
2. The straight shooter lighter system of claim 1, wherein said housing of said lighter further comprises a base having a slidable cap.
3. The straight shooter lighter system of claim 2, wherein said storage compartment includes an elongated tubular profile configured within said housing of said lighter, said storage compartment includes an open end at a base-portion of said housing.
4. The straight shooter lighter system of claim 3, wherein said straight shooter pipe is ejected through said open end at said base-portion of said housing.
5. The straight shooter lighter system of claim 4, wherein said slidable cap is configured to cover and alternatively uncover said open end.
6. The straight shooter lighter system of claim 5, wherein said straight shooter pipe comprises a substantially similar elongated tubular profile such that said straight shooter pipe fits within said storage compartment.
7. The straight shooter lighter system of claim 1, wherein said storage compartment is hollow.
8. The straight shooter lighter system of claim 1, wherein said housing is split along a length into said storage compartment and said lighter fluid storage chamber.
9. The straight shooter lighter system of claim 1, wherein said storage compartment comprises an open-compartment configuration.
10. The straight shooter lighter system of claim 9, wherein said open-compartment configuration is positioned along a length of said lighter.
11. The straight shooter lighter system of claim 10, wherein said storage compartment includes at least one clamp for securing said straight shooter pipe to said lighter.
12. The straight shooter lighter system of claim 11, wherein said straight shooter pipe is removably attached to said lighter via said at least one clamp.
13. The straight shooter lighter system of claim 12, wherein said housing of said lighter further comprises a non-removeable base.
14. The straight shooter lighter system of claim 11, wherein said at least one clamp includes a pressure clasp.
15. The straight shooter lighter system of claim 1, wherein said straight shooter pipe includes a first-open-end and a second-open-end.
16. The straight shooter lighter system of claim 1, wherein said straight shooter pipe comprises a fire resistant material.
17. The straight shooter lighter system of claim 16, wherein said fire resistant material is glass.
18. The straight shooter lighter system of claim 1, wherein said lighter further comprises an adjusting wheel.

a lighter including;
a spark wheel;
a flame opening;
an actuator; and
a housing;
a storage compartment; and
a lighter fluid storage chamber; and
a straight shooter pipe;
wherein said lighter includes said spark wheel, said flame opening, said actuator, and said housing in functional combination;
wherein said housing includes said lighter fluid storage chamber and said storage compartment, said storage compartment configured to house said straight shooter pipe for removeable use;
wherein said lighter fluid storage chamber stores lighter fluid;
wherein said straight shooter pipe is configured to host a smoking substance for smoking;
wherein said lighter is configured to produce a flame for combustion of said smoking substance to be smoked and for inhalation through said straight shooter pipe;
wherein said housing of said lighter further comprises a base having a slidable cap;
wherein said storage compartment includes an elongated tubular profile configured within said housing of said lighter, said storage compartment includes an open end at a base-portion of said housing;
wherein said straight shooter pipe is ejected through said open end at said base-portion of said housing;
wherein said slidable cap is configured to cover and alternatively uncover said open end;
wherein said straight shooter pipe comprises a substantially similar elongated tubular profile such that said straight shooter pipe fits within said storage compartment;
wherein said storage compartment is hollow;
wherein said housing is split along a length into said storage compartment and said lighter fluid storage chamber;
wherein said straight shooter pipe includes a first-open-end and a second-open-end;
wherein said straight shooter pipe comprises a fire resistant material;
wherein said fire resistant material is glass; and
wherein said lighter further comprises an adjusting wheel.
20. A straight shooter lighter system, the straight shooter lighter system comprising:
a lighter including;
a spark wheel;
a flame opening;
an actuator; and
a housing;
a storage compartment; and
a lighter fluid storage chamber; and
a straight shooter pipe;
wherein said lighter includes said spark wheel, said flame opening, said actuator, and said housing in functional combination;
wherein said housing includes said lighter fluid storage chamber and said storage compartment, said storage compartment configured to house said straight shooter pipe for removeable use;
wherein said housing is split along a length into said storage compartment and said lighter fluid storage chamber;
wherein said lighter fluid storage chamber stores lighter fluid;
wherein said straight shooter pipe is configured to host a smoking substance for smoking;
wherein said lighter is configured to produce a flame for combustion of said smoking substance to be smoked and for inhalation through said straight shooter pipe;
wherein said storage compartment comprises an open-compartment configuration;
wherein said open-compartment configuration is positioned along a length of said lighter;
wherein said storage compartment includes at least one clamp for securing said straight shooter pipe to said lighter;
wherein said straight shooter pipe is removably attached to said lighter via said at least one clamp;
wherein said at least one clamp includes a pressure clasp;
wherein said housing of said lighter further comprises a non-removeable base;
wherein said straight shooter pipe includes a first-open-end and a second-open-end;
wherein said straight shooter pipe comprises a fire-resistant material;
wherein said fire resistant material is glass; and
wherein said lighter further comprises an adjusting wheel.
