Abstract
A portable assembly comprises a housing unit comprising a top, sides a bottom, a plurality of storage units, and a cover being operable for opening and closing above the top. A counter top is joined to the top. A sink unit is disposed in the counter top. A water supply unit is disposed within the housing unit and supplies water to the sink unit. A cooking unit is disposed in the counter top. At least two shelves are joinable to sides of the counter top. An illumination source is configured to be operable for at least illuminating the counter top and a surrounding area. A plurality of legs supports the housing unit in which the assembly is transportable to a location to provide amenities at the location.

- One or more embodiments of the invention generally relate to basic amenities. More particularly, one or more embodiments of the invention relate to a unit that provides comprehensive amenities.
- The following background information may present examples of specific aspects of the prior art (e.g., without limitation, approaches, facts, or common wisdom) that, while expected to be helpful to further educate the reader as to additional aspects of the prior art, is not to be construed as limiting the present invention, or any embodiments thereof, to anything stated or implied therein or inferred thereupon.
- The following is an example of a specific aspect in the prior art that, while expected to be helpful to further educate the reader as to additional aspects of the prior art, is not to be construed as limiting the present invention, or any embodiments thereof, to anything stated or implied therein or inferred thereupon. By way of educational background, another aspect of the prior art generally useful to be aware of is that while traveling, or in a secluded area, basic amenities may not always be available. Simple functions like washing, cooking, cleaning, and entertaining may be difficult without potable water and electricity.
- Typically, portable toilets are simple portable enclosures containing a chemical toilet which are typically used as a temporary toilet for construction sites and large gatherings and events. A food cart is a motorless trailer that can be hauled by automobile, bicycle, or hand to the point of sale, often a public sidewalk or park. Carts typically have an onboard heating and/or refrigeration system to keep the food ready for consumption.
- In view of the foregoing, it is clear that these traditional techniques are not perfect and leave room for more optimal approaches.

- The present invention will now be described in detail with reference to embodiments thereof as illustrated in the accompanying drawings.
- There are various types of comprehensive creature comfort assemblies that may be provided by preferred embodiments of the present invention. In one embodiment of the present invention, the comprehensive
creature comfort assembly 100 may provide a portable unit that allows a user to sustain life independently of established power, water, and sanitary infrastructure. The comprehensive creature comfort assembly may provide an eclectic assortment of amenities in a portable, lightweight unit that may be transported to localities where basic amenities may not be available. In some embodiments, the comprehensive creature comfort assembly may provide self-reliant capabilities, including, without limitation, renewable and sustainable energy production, water filtration, cooking, water heating, water dispersion, toiletries, showering, entertainment devices support, and compacting for storage and transport. Those skilled in the art, in light of the present teachings, will recognize that the assembly does not always function in a self-sustainable capacity. The assembly may be amendable to work in conjunction with an external housing structure, such as, without limitation, a tent, a cabin, and a tree house. The assembly may also utilize water supplies, power sources, and waste reservoirs from external sources. In some embodiments, the comprehensive creature comfort assembly may be efficacious for providing amenities during outdoor activities, including, without limitation, camping, hunting, cross-country driving, natural disaster emergencies, and battle zones. - In some embodiments, the comprehensive creature comfort assembly may include a
housing 102 for covering and carrying the other elements of the comprehensive creature comfort assembly. The housing may be fabricated from a lightweight, portable material that is sufficiently rigid to provide protection against the elements and accidents. In some embodiments, the housing may include at least onewall panel portion 104, alid portion 106, and afloor panel portion 108. In some embodiments, each wall panel may join at a perpendicular angle to form a rectangular shape. In some embodiments, the housing may stand on a multiplicity oflegs 110. The multiplicity of legs may include four retractable legs, with each leg having a caster wheel for facilitated portability. In some embodiments, a multiplicity ofstorage portions 112 may be utilized by the housing to further organize the uses. The storage portions may include, without limitation, a spice rack, a cabinet, a shelf, and a drawer. Those skilled in the art, in light of the present teachings, will recognize that the floor portion may be sufficiently rigid to support the weight of a few people, and may include drainage and venting to support the cooking and toiletry functions. The housing may further include ahitch portion 114 to receive a vehicle tow bar, so that a vehicle may transport the comprehensive creature comfort assembly to and from the desired local. Similarly, the housing may include a multiplicity ofhandles 118 to facilitate lifting and carrying the comprehensive creature comfort assembly. In some embodiments, the housing may include anillumination portion 116 for providing lighting onto and in proximity to the comprehensive creature comfort assembly. The illuminating portion may include a lamp, a patio light, and an awning light. Suitable materials for fabricating the housing may include, without limitation, aluminum, stainless steel, fiberglass, and wood. - In some embodiments, the comprehensive creature comfort assembly may include a
liquid portion 200 for supporting sanitary and cooking activities. The liquid portion may provide clean, comfortable, and easily accessible water for washing, drinking, flushing, and cooking. The liquid may include, without limitation, water and a cleaning compound. The liquid portion may include aliquid reservoir 202 for containing a predetermined quantity of liquid. Those skilled in the art, in light of the present teachings, will recognize that the liquid may also be accessed from an external source, such as a water hose, or large body of water. The liquid portion may further include afilter portion 204 to convert outside water into potable water, and also to protect against water in the liquid reservoir spoiling or being contaminated. In some embodiments, the liquid portion may include at least oneliquid conduit 206. Each liquid conduit may include a water pipe for transporting the liquid from the liquid reservoir to a desired area of the comprehensive creature comfort assembly. In some embodiments, the at least one liquid conduit may include a multiplicity ofvalves 207 for preventing backflow and controlling the flow of water through the liquid portion. The liquid portion may further include aliquid heating portion 212 for heating the water to a more suitable temperature for washing and providing hot water for cooking. The liquid heating portion may include, without limitation, a six gallon propane water heater. In some embodiments, the liquid portion may include aliquid dispersion portion 208 for dispersing water from each liquid conduit. The liquid dispersion portion may include a shower head, a water faucet, and a spray gun. In some embodiments, the liquid portion may include apump portion 214 for forcing the liquid from the liquid reservoir through the at least one liquid conduit, and finally out the liquid dispersion portion. In some embodiments, the liquid portion may include aliquid waste reservoir 216 for receiving waste water after use. Those skilled in the art, in light of the present teachings, will recognize that the liquid waste reservoir works in conjunction with the at least one liquid conduit and the liquid receptacle to receive and contain waste water. In one alternative embodiment, the waste water may be recycled in the filter portion, before passing back to the liquid reservoir portion for reuse. - In some embodiments, the comprehensive creature comfort assembly may include a
fuel portion 300 for generating thermal energy. The fuel may include, without limitation, propane, methane, butane, compressed natural gas, dry gas, and liquefied natural gas. In some embodiments, the fuel portion may include afuel container 302. The fuel canister may include a propane canister. Those skilled in the art will recognize that the fuel canister may store outside of the housing due to the fuel container's heavy composition, capacity to leak, and explosive hazard. In some embodiments, a multiplicity offuel hoses 304, such as, without limitation, high pressure, low pressure, and flex hoses may be utilized to transport the propane throughout the comprehensive creature comfort assembly. In some embodiments,gas regulators 306 andgas valves 308 may be included in the fuel portion for regulating gas flow and preventing dangerous back flow. Those skilled in the art, in light of the present teachings, will recognize that due to the tendency of propane to leak through joints and cracked fuel hoses, and the potential for propane combustion, a multiplicity offittings 310 may be utilized to securely and safely join the different fuel portion components. In some embodiments, the fuel portion may provide fuel for the liquid heating portion, whereby the liquid may be heated as it leaves the liquid reservoir. - In some embodiments, the comprehensive creature comfort assembly may include a cooking portion 400. The cooking portion may utilize thermal energy from the liquid heating portion and the fuel portion to heat, sanitize, and prepare water for cooking. A counter
top portion 402 may include aliquid receptacle 404 for containing water and washing dishes and food. The counter top portion may further include antibacterial properties and minimal crevices to reduce bacteria. The cooking portion may further include aheating surface 406 for heating the food. The heating surface may include, without limitation, a stove top, a Bunsen burner, and an electromagnetic heating pad. Those skilled in the art, in light of the present teachings, will recognize that the fuel portion, the liquid heating portion, the fuel hoses, and the liquid conduits may work in conjunction with the heating surface to provide sufficient thermal energy for cooking. - In some embodiments, the comprehensive creature comfort assembly may include a
power portion 500 for providing a portable, self-reliant source of energy. The power portion may include renewable andsustainable energy source 502 including, without limitation, a solar panel, a wind turbine, a combustion fuel generator, and a propane canister from the fuel portion. The power portion may be utilized to power abattery 504. The battery may be positioned in the housing, and include, without limitation, a 12 volt deep cycle battery, a nickel-cadmium battery, and a thermoelectric cell. Abattery monitor 520 may be utilized to monitor the rate at which the battery is drawing power from the renewable and sustainable energy source. In some embodiments, at least one wire may interconnect the different components of the power portion. Those skilled in the art, in light of the present teachings, will recognize that the energy may transmit through at least onewire 506 from the solar panel, prior to charging the battery. The energy may then transmit from the battery through afuse block 508, then agrounding bar 510, before transmitting to the desired area in the comprehensive creature comfort assembly. In some embodiments, the power portion may include apower receptacle 518 to transmit or receive power. The power receptacle may be utilized to charge a cellular phone, or power LED strips 512 used for decorative and identification purposes on the housing. The power source portion may be utilized to power anentertainment portion 514. The entertainment portion may include, without limitation, a stereo, a radio, a television, an LCD screen, and a digital display. Those skilled in the art, in light of the present teachings, will recognize that often, an external power source may be available and in proximity to the comprehensive creature comfort assembly, whereby apower cord 516 may extend from the housing to provide an additional source of energy. -
FIG. 1 illustrates a frontal view of an exemplary comprehensive creature comfort assembly, in accordance with an embodiment of the present invention. In some embodiments, the comprehensive creature comfort assembly may provide an eclectic assortment of amenities in a portable, lightweight unit that may be transported to localities where basic amenities may not be available. In one embodiment, the assembly may be described as a lightweight, portable, fully self-contained, solar powered, battery and propane operated, free standing kitchen, bathroom, shower, and enclosure. In some embodiments, the comprehensive creature comfort assembly may provide self-reliant capabilities, including, without limitation, renewable and sustainable energy production, water filtration, cooking, water heating, water dispersion, toiletries, showering, entertainment devices support, and compacting for storage and transport. The basic components of the assembly may include, without limitation, a housing, a liquid portion, a power portion, a fuel portion, and a cooking portion. In some embodiments, the housing may be sized and dimensioned to fit inside a variety of vehicles and trailers, including, without limitation, an SUV, a trailer, a minivan, and a truck bed. The comprehensive creature comfort assembly may compact into a rectangular shape for storage. The lid portion and the wall panels may then be extended to provide functionality. - Those skilled in the art, in light of the present teachings, will recognize that the assembly may not always function in a self-sustainable capacity. The assembly may be amendable to work in conjunction with an external housing structure, such as, without limitation, a tent, a cabin, and a tree house. The comprehensive creature comfort assembly may also utilize water supplies, power sources, and waste reservoirs from external sources. In one alternative embodiment, the comprehensive creature comfort assembly may be joined with at least one other comprehensive creature comfort assembly to form a larger area for cooing, showering, and cleaning The different assemblies may join by lowering a wall panel on each respective side, and then utilizing a fastener to secure the attachment.
- In some embodiments, the comprehensive creature comfort assembly may provide washing and toiletry amenities. The toiletries may include the liquid dispenser, such as a sink for washing hands and clothes. Those skilled in the art, in light of the present teachings, will recognize that the sink may have a dual purpose of dispensing water for cooking and washing. In some embodiments, a portable shower may also be included. The shower may stow inside the storage portion, such as a cupboard, when not in use. The shower may include a foldable shower curtain, a multiplicity of fiberglass poles, a 9′ long shower hose, a shower handle, a shower head, and a waterproof material. In one alternative embodiment, the shower curtain may provide a changing room function due to the privacy created. In one alternative embodiment, a small bath tub may be positioned inside the assembly for taking a bubble bath, washing a pet, or soaking items. The shower may be dimensioned to less than 48″×25″×33″ when folded. Additional features include access to both hot and cold water, and wall panels that provide privacy while showering. In yet another embodiment, a porta potty, a toilet, or a urinal may be positioned inside the assembly when the shower is not being used. In yet another embodiment, the liquid waste reservoir may be positioned to receive human waste. Those skilled in the art will recognize that the water conduits may be reconfigured to support different toiletry needs and various bathroom fixtures. For example, without limitation, switching a valve in one direction may allow sink water to flow into a first liquid waste reservoir, while the opposite direction of the valve may allow human waste to flow into a second liquid waste reservoir. In some embodiments, the assembly may include additional niceties of the typical bathroom, including, without limitation, a mirror, a toothbrush holder, a towel rack, and a weight scale.

FIG. 2 illustrates a side view of an exemplary comprehensive creature comfort assembly, in accordance with an embodiment of the present invention. In one embodiment, the housing may include a hitch portion to receive a vehicle tow bar, so that a vehicle may transport the comprehensive creature comfort assembly to and from the desired local. Similarly, the housing may include a multiplicity of handles to facilitate lifting and carrying the comprehensive creature comfort assembly. In some embodiments, the comprehensive creature comfort assembly may be efficacious for providing amenities during outdoor activities, including, without limitation, camping, hunting, cross-country driving, tailgating, backyard parties, boating, natural disaster emergencies, and battle zones. -
FIG. 3 illustrates a top view of an exemplary comprehensive creature comfort assembly, in accordance with an embodiment of the present invention. In some embodiments, the cooking portion may utilize thermal energy from the liquid heating portion and the fuel portion to heat, sanitize, and prepare water for cooking. A counter top portion may include a liquid receptacle for containing water and washing dishes and food. The counter top may include 125 square feet for preparing and cooking food. In one embodiment, the liquid receptacle may include a 15″×15″ stainless steel sink. The counter top portion may further include antibacterial properties and minimal crevices to reduce bacteria. The cooking portion may further include a heating surface for heating the food. The heating surface may include, without limitation, a stove top, a Bunsen burner, and an electromagnetic heating pad. Those skilled in the art, in light of the present teachings, will recognize that the fuel portion, the liquid heating portion, the fuel hoses, and the liquid conduits may work in conjunction with the heating surface to provide sufficient thermal energy for cooking. -
FIG. 4 illustrates a sectioned frontal view of an exemplary comprehensive creature comfort assembly with the fuel portion, liquid portion, and power source portion, in accordance with an embodiment of the present invention. In some embodiments, the basic components of the assembly may include, without limitation, a housing, a liquid portion, a power portion, a fuel portion, and a cooking portion. In one embodiment, an illuminating portion may provide lighting onto and in proximity to the assembly. A 6′ fuel hose may supply propane to the illuminating device. The illuminating device may include, without limitation, a propane lantern, a camping lantern, an awning light, an insect repellant light, and a candle. -
FIG. 5 illustrates a detailed perspective view of an exemplary comprehensive creature comfort assembly with the multiplicity of storage portions extended, in accordance with an embodiment of the present invention. In some embodiments, a multiplicity of storage portions may be utilized by the housing to further organize the uses. The storage portions may include, without limitation, a spice rack, a cupboard, a cabinet, a shelf, stainless steel clip on shelf brackets, and a drawer. In some embodiments, a first cupboard may contain used sink water, a second cupboard may contain a propane water heater, a third cupboard may contain a shower hose and handle, a foldable shower, and a water filter. However, any combination of cupboards or other storage portions may be utilized to hold or contain any element of the present invention. In some embodiments, the shelves may press flush against each wall panel to provide a secure, watertight attachment. The shelves may be hingedly attached to the wall panels. In one embodiment, flush mount shelves are detachable, and may join the wall panels when the assembly is opened and in use to provide additional extension and storage space. -
FIG. 6 illustrates a blow up view of an exemplary comprehensive creature comfort assembly, in accordance with an embodiment of the present invention. In some embodiments, the comprehensive creature comfort assembly may include a housing for covering and carrying the other elements of the comprehensive creature comfort assembly. The housing may be fabricated from a lightweight, portable material that is sufficiently rigid to provide protection against the elements and accidents. In one embodiment, the housing may be fabricated from lightweight 1/16th″ aluminum with 5/32″ aluminum rivets throughout, and welded as needed. Suitable materials for fabricating the housing may include, without limitation, aluminum, stainless steel, fiberglass, and wood. In some embodiments, the housing may include at least one wall panel portion, a lid portion, and a floor panel portion. In one embodiment, the lid portion may be 4″ deep and hingedly joined to the wall panels. The lid portion may provide a display area on either surface for attaching various indicia, including, without limitation, a picture, a display screen, an artistic depiction, and a logo. In some embodiments, an antenna attaches to the lid portion. In some embodiments, each wall panel may join at a perpendicular angle to form a rectangular shape. In some embodiments, the housing may stand on a multiplicity of legs. The multiplicity of legs may include four retractable legs, with each leg having a wheel for facilitated portability. In some embodiments, a multiplicity of storage portions may be utilized by the housing to further organize the uses. The storage portions may include, without limitation, a spice rack, a cupboard, a cabinet, a shelf, and a drawer. In some embodiments, the shelves may press flush against each wall panel to provide a secure, watertight attachment. In one embodiment, the storage portion may include a series of cupboards with doors and drawers. Each door may contain stainless steel, self-closing hinges and a single cabinet door pull. The cupboard may provide a pantry for a variety of amenities, including, without limitation, canned goods, dry food, pots, dishes, napkins, soap, and toiletries. Those skilled in the art, in light of the present teachings, will recognize that the floor portion may be sufficiently rigid to support the weight of a few people, and may include drainage and venting to support the cooking and toiletry functions. In some embodiments, the housing may include an illumination portion for providing lighting onto and in proximity to the comprehensive creature comfort assembly. The illuminating portion may include a lamp, a patio light, and an awning light. - In one embodiment, the rear of the assembly may include five cupboards The first cupboard may include the shower valve, shower hose, and shower head. The second cupboard, directly beneath the first cupboard, may provide access to the liquid portion, including the valves, the liquid drain, and a separate line for drafting water from an exterior source. The middle upper cupboard may include the battery. The vinyl wrapped cupboard may also contain a fuse panel and ground bar along with the solar monitor. The next cupboard down below the battery may provide access to the water pump and valves. The last cupboard may include the filter portion and the fuel portion.

FIG. 7 illustrates a block diagram view of an exemplary liquid portion, in accordance with an embodiment of the present invention. In some embodiments, the comprehensive creature comfort assembly may include a liquid portion for supporting sanitary and cooking activities. The liquid portion may provide clean, comfortable, and easily accessible water for washing, drinking, flushing, and cooking. The liquid may include, without limitation, water and a cleaning compound. The liquid portion may include a liquid reservoir for containing a predetermined quantity of liquid. In some embodiments, the liquid reservoir may include a 6-9 gallon tank. The liquid reservoir may also include a fill spout for receiving water. The pump and manipulation of the valves may force water out of the liquid reservoir to charge the liquid conduits. In this manner, the shower and sink may constantly have water pressure. Those skilled in the art, in light of the present teachings, will recognize that the liquid may also be accessed from an external source, such as a water hose, or large body of water. The liquid portion may further include a filter portion to convert outside water into potable water, and also to protect against water in the liquid reservoir spoiling or being contaminated by bacteria, protozoa, and microbial cysts that can cause disease. The filter used for the present invention may be utilized to obtain water from lakes, rivers, and streams. In some embodiments, the filter portion may remove impurities from water by means of a fine physical barrier, a chemical process, or a biological process. Suitable filters may include, without limitation, carbon filters, metallic alloy filters, microporous ceramic filters, carbon block resin and ultrafiltration membranes. In one alternative embodiment, the assembly may include a desalination unit for providing the capacity to obtain salt water from the sea. In some embodiments, the liquid portion may include at least one liquid conduit. Each liquid conduit may include a water pipe for transporting the liquid from the liquid reservoir to a desired area of the comprehensive creature comfort assembly. In some embodiments, the at least one liquid conduit may include a multiplicity of valves for preventing backflow and controlling the flow of water through the liquid portion. The valves may be manipulated to charge the liquid portion. In some embodiments, the liquid portion may include a liquid dispersion portion for dispersing water from each liquid conduit. In one embodiment, the liquid dispersion portion may include, without limitation a bar style faucet, a filtered faucet, and a water conservation faucet. The liquid portion may further include a liquid heating portion for heating the water to a more suitable temperature for washing and providing hot water for cooking. The liquid heating portion may include, without limitation, a six gallon propane water heater. The liquid dispersion portion may include a shower head, a water faucet, and a spray gun. In some embodiments, the liquid portion may include a pump portion for forcing the liquid from the liquid reservoir through the at least one liquid conduit, and finally out the liquid dispersion portion. Those skilled in the art will recognize that a 12 volt water pump may provide pressurized water to the sink, shower, water filter, and water heater located in a fourth cupboard of the cupboards. In some embodiments, the liquid portion may include a liquid waste reservoir for receiving waste water after use. Those skilled in the art, in light of the present teachings, will recognize that the liquid waste reservoir works in conjunction with the at least one liquid conduit and the liquid receptacle to receive and contain waste water. In one alternative embodiment, the waste water may be recycled in the filter portion, before passing back to the liquid reservoir portion for reuse. -
FIG. 8 illustrates a block diagram view of an exemplary power source portion, in accordance with an embodiment of the present invention. In some embodiments, the comprehensive creature comfort assembly may include a power portion for providing a portable, self-reliant source of energy. The power portion may include renewable and sustainable energy source including, without limitation, a solar panel, a wind turbine, a combustion fuel generator, and a propane canister from the fuel portion. The power portion may be utilized to power a battery. The battery may be positioned in the housing, and include, without limitation, a 12 volt deep cycle battery, a nickel-cadmium battery, and a thermoelectric cell. In one embodiment, the battery may be lined with a 3 millimeter vinyl to avoid contact with the wall panels. A battery monitor may be utilized to monitor the rate at which the battery is drawing power from the renewable and sustainable energy source. In some embodiments, at least one wire may interconnect the different components of the power portion. The at least one wire may include a #6 sized wire. However, other types and sizes of wires may be utilized in other embodiments. Those skilled in the art, in light of the present teachings, will recognize that the energy may transmit through at least one wire from the solar panel, prior to charging the battery. The battery may be utilized to charge numerous electrical components, including, without limitation, the electrical receptacle, the 12 volt water pump, the LED strips, an air compressor, and the entertainment portion, including a stereo. The energy may then transmit from the battery through a fuse block, then a grounding bar, before transmitting to the desired area in the comprehensive creature comfort assembly. In some embodiments, the power portion may include a power receptacle to transmit or receive power. The power receptacle may be utilized to charge a cellular phone, an appliance, a laptop, or LED strips used for decorative and identification purposes on the housing. The power source portion may be utilized to power an entertainment portion. The entertainment portion may include, without limitation, a stereo, a radio, a television, an LCD screen, and a digital display. Those skilled in the art, in light of the present teachings, will recognize that often, an external power source may be available and in proximity to the comprehensive creature comfort assembly, whereby a power cord may extend from the housing to provide an additional source of energy. In some embodiments, a multiplicity of toggle switches may control the flow of electricity to the pump, the battery, and the entertainment portion. -
FIGS. 9A and 9B illustrate a block diagram view of different configurations of an exemplary fuel portion, in accordance with an embodiment of the present invention, whereFIG. 9A illustrates an exemplary illumination portion directly joined with an exemplary fuel canister, andFIG. 9B illustrates an exemplary supply line, regulators, and fittings positioned between the fuel canister and the illumination portion. In some embodiments, the comprehensive creature comfort assembly may include a fuel portion for generating thermal energy. The fuel may include, without limitation, propane, methane, butane, compressed natural gas, dry gas, and liquefied natural gas. In some embodiments, the fuel portion may include a fuel container. The fuel canister may include a propane canister. Those skilled in the art will recognize that the fuel canister may store outside of the housing due to the fuel container's heavy composition, capacity to leak, and explosive hazard. In some embodiments, a multiplicity of fuel hoses, such as, without limitation, high pressure, low pressure, and flex hoses may be utilized to transport the propane throughout the comprehensive creature comfort assembly. In one embodiment, the fuel hose may include an 8′ propane supply line built into the assembly. In yet another embodiment, a 6′ propane supply line may supply propane to the illuminating portion. In some embodiments, gas regulators and gas valves may be included in the fuel portion for regulating gas flow and preventing dangerous back flow. An internal propane distribution block may also assist in regulating the flow of propane. Those skilled in the art, in light of the present teachings, will recognize that due to the tendency of propane to leak through joints and cracked fuel hoses, and the potential for propane combustion, a multiplicity of fittings may be utilized to securely and safely join the different fuel portion components. In some embodiments, the fuel portion may provide fuel for the liquid heating portion, whereby the liquid may be heated as it leaves the liquid reservoir. - In one alternative embodiment, the comprehensive creature comfort assembly may serve as a food catering unit. The capacity to cook food, and provide potable water is sufficient to satisfy most health codes. The propane fuel may also provide power for a barbecue grill or an oven that attaches to the comprehensive creature comfort assembly. In yet another alternative embodiment, the comprehensive creature comfort assembly may be utilized in a battle zone, whereby the energy generated by the power source portion and fuel portion may power a life support unit, a communication system, and a stove to feed soldiers. The storage portion may also be utilized to contain ammunition and medical supplies.
- All the features or embodiment components disclosed in this specification, including any accompanying abstract and drawings, unless expressly stated otherwise, may be replaced by alternative features or components serving the same, equivalent or similar purpose as known by those skilled in the art to achieve the same, equivalent, suitable, or similar results by such alternative feature(s) or component(s) providing a similar function by virtue of their having known suitable properties for the intended purpose. Thus, unless expressly stated otherwise, each feature disclosed is one example only of a generic series of equivalent, or suitable, or similar features known or knowable to those skilled in the art without requiring undue experimentation.
- Having fully described at least one embodiment of the present invention, other equivalent or alternative methods of implementing a portable unit that provides basic amenities that may be transported to localities where basic amenities may not be available according to the present invention will be apparent to those skilled in the art. Various aspects of the invention have been described above by way of illustration, and the specific embodiments disclosed are not intended to limit the invention to the particular forms disclosed. The particular implementation of the portable unit that provides basic amenities may vary depending upon the particular context or application. By way of example, and not limitation, the portable unit that provides basic amenities that may be transported to localities where basic amenities may not be available described in the foregoing were principally directed to cooking, washing, and cleaning functions while camping implementations; however, similar techniques may instead be applied to providing basic amenities in a battle zone, which implementations of the present invention are contemplated as within the scope of the present invention. The invention is thus to cover all modifications, equivalents, and alternatives falling within the spirit and scope of the following claims. It is to be further understood that not all of the disclosed embodiments in the foregoing specification will necessarily satisfy or achieve each of the objects, advantages, or improvements described in the foregoing specification.
- Claim elements and steps herein may have been numbered and/or lettered solely as an aid in readability and understanding. Any such numbering and lettering in itself is not intended to and should not be taken to indicate the ordering of elements and/or steps in the claims.
Claims (20)
1. A portable assembly comprising:
a housing unit comprising a top, sides a bottom, a plurality of storage units, and a cover being operable for opening and closing above said top;
a counter top being joined to said top and coverable by said cover;
a sink unit being disposed in said counter top, said sink unit comprising a sink and a water tap;
a water supply unit being disposed within said housing unit and being configured for at least supplying water to said water tap;
a cooking unit being disposed in said counter top;
at least two shelves being joinable to sides of said counter top;
an illumination source being configured to be operable for at least illuminating said counter top and a surrounding area; and
a plurality of legs for supporting the housing unit in which the assembly is transportable to a location to provide amenities at the location.
2. The portable assembly as recited in claim 1 , further comprising a fuel unit being disposed within said housing unit, said fuel unit being configured to be operable for at least dispensing a fuel to said cooking unit and said water supply unit for heating water.
3. The portable assembly as recited in claim 1 , further comprising a power unit being disposed within said housing unit, said power unit comprising a plurality of receptacles joined to said housing unit and being configured to be operable for delivering electrical power.
4. The portable assembly as recited in claim 1 , further comprising a shower unit being joinable to said water supply unit for enabling a user to bath, said shower unit being configured to be foldable for storage in a one of said storage units.
5. The portable assembly as recited in claim 1 , in which said water supply unit further comprises a water reservoir, a pump unit, a water heater, a filtration unit being configured to supply potable water from said water reservoir, and a waste water tank.
6. The portable assembly as recited in claim Error! Reference source not found., further comprising a solar panel unit for supplying electrical power to said power unit and said battery unit.
7. The portable assembly as recited in claim 2 , further comprising a fuel tank joined to said fuel unit for supplying the fuel.
8. The portable assembly as recited in claim 1 , further comprising a plurality of handles joined to said housing unit being configured for lifting the housing unit to move the unit.
9. The portable assembly as recited in claim 1 , further comprising a hitch portion joined to said housing unit and being configured to be joinable to a vehicle tow bar.
10. The portable assembly as recited in claim 3 , in which at least one of said receptacles is configured for delivering electrical power to an entertainment system.
11. The portable assembly as recited in claim 1 , in which said plurality of legs are retractable up to said bottom.
12. The portable assembly as recited in claim 2 , in which said illumination source receives fuel from said fuel unit.
13. A portable assembly comprising:
a housing unit comprising a top, sides a bottom, a plurality of storage units, and a cover being operable for opening and closing above said top;
a counter top being joined to said top and coverable by said cover;
a sink unit being disposed in said counter top, said sink unit comprising a sink and a water tap;
means for cooking being disposed in said counter top;
means for showering, said showering means being configured for storage in a one of said storage units;
means being disposed within said housing unit and being configured for at least supplying water to said water tap and said showering means;
means being disposed within said housing unit being configured to be operable for at least dispensing a fuel to said cooking means and said supplying means for heating water;
means being disposed within said housing unit being configured to be operable for delivering electrical power;
at least two shelves being joinable to sides of said counter top;
means being configured to be operable for at least illuminating said counter top and a surrounding area; and
means for supporting the housing unit in which the assembly is transportable to a location to provide amenities at the location.
14. The portable assembly as recited in claim 13 , further comprising means for supplying electrical power to said delivering means.
15. The portable assembly as recited in claim 13 , further comprising means for supplying the fuel to said dispensing means.
16. The portable assembly as recited in claim 13 , further comprising means for lifting the housing unit to move the unit.
17. The portable assembly as recited in claim 13 , further comprising means for joining to a vehicle tow bar.
18. A portable assembly comprising:
a housing unit comprising a top, sides a bottom, a plurality of storage units, and a cover being operable for opening and closing above said top;
a counter top being joined to said top and coverable by said cover;
a sink unit being disposed in said counter top, said sink unit comprising a sink and a water tap;
a cooking unit being disposed in said counter top;
a shower for enabling a user to bath, said shower unit being configured to be foldable for storage in a one of said storage units;
a water supply unit being disposed within said housing unit and being configured for at least supplying water to said water tap and said shower unit, said water supply unit further comprising a water reservoir, a pump unit, a water heater, a filtration unit being configured to supply potable water from said water reservoir, and a waste water tank;
a fuel unit being disposed within said housing unit, said fuel unit being configured to be operable for at least dispensing a fuel to said cooking unit and said water heater for heating water;
a power unit being disposed within said housing unit, said power unit comprising a battery unit and plurality of receptacles joined to said housing unit and being configured to be operable for delivering electrical power, at least one of said receptacles being configured for delivering electrical power to an entertainment system;
at least two shelves being joinable to sides of said counter top;
an illumination source being configured to be operable for at least illuminating said counter top and a surrounding area;
a plurality of handles joined to said housing unit and being configured for lifting the housing unit to move the unit;
a hitch portion joined to said housing unit and being configured to be joinable to a vehicle tow bar; and
a plurality of legs for supporting the housing unit, said plurality of legs being retractable up to said bottom in which the assembly is transportable to a location to provide amenities at the location.
19. The portable assembly as recited in claim 18 , further comprising a solar panel unit for supplying electrical power to said power unit and said battery unit.
20. The portable assembly as recited in claim 18 , further comprising a fuel tank joined to said fuel unit for supplying the fuel.
