  • FIG. 8 is a schematic view of a cigarette holder cover of an electronic cigarette in a third embodiment.
  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT
  • FIG. 1 shows a schematic view of a conventional cigarette holder cover 3.
  • In the current electronic cigarettes, an air outlet in communication with the interior of the atomizer is provided on the top of the cigarette holder 3. When smoking, the air atomized in the atomizer is inhaled through the air outlet by the user. Such structure may lead to the volume of the atomized air inhaled through the air outlet by the user increasing and the spit and breath of the user easily reflowing back to the atomizer to destroy the taste. Further more, for the reason that the air outlet and the atomizer are in communication with each other, the tobacco tar will be easily sucked out through the air outlet.
  • An electronic cigarette is provided which comprises a protective sleeve 10, an atomizer 1 and a battery pole 2, the atomizer 1 and the battery pole 2 are set in the protective sleeve 10, and a cigarette holder cover 3 is connected to the end of the protective sleeve 10 facing the direction of the atomizer 1. The cigarette holder cover 3 includes a ventilation piece 32 and a barrier 31. An air outlet runs through the ventilation piece 32 to communicate with the interior of the atomizer 1. The barrier 31 is mounted on the top of the cigarette holder cover 3 to prevent the environment from communicating to the interior of the atomizer 1 axially. The surface of the barrier 31 is a closed plane or a smooth camber.
  • FIG. 2, FIG. 3 and FIG. 4 illustrate a first embodiment of the electronic cigarette in the prevent invention. The ventilation piece 32 and the barrier 31 are integrally formed. The air outlet comprises at least one circumferential holes 321 set circumferentially on the ventilation 32. The shape that the ventilation 32 and the barrier integrally formed may be a hollow cylinder set on the top of the protective sleeve 10 reversedly. The barrier 31 is the top of the cylinder.
  • When the number of the circumferential holes 321 is more than one, the circumferential holes 321 are set uniformly on the ventilation piece 32 in the circumferential direction, thus the smoke outputting evenly around the cigarette holder cover 3.
  • FIG. 5, FIG. 6 and FIG. 7 illustrate a second embodiment of the electronic cigarette in the prevent invention. The air outlet comprises at least one axial holes 322 set axially on the ventilation piece 32. The barrier 31 and the ventilation piece 32 are in permanent connection and the two surrounds together to form an annular groove 323 that is in communication with the axial holes 322.
  • When the number of the axial holes 322 is more than one, the holes are set uniformly on one circumference.
  • In this case, the ventilation piece 32 has a honeycomb-coal-like structure. The barrier 31 is a circular plate with pins at its center. A plurality of openings are defined at the center of the ventilation piece 32. The barrier 31 and the ventilation piece 32 are connected by inserting the pins of the barrier 31 into the openings of the ventilation piece 32. Furthermore, there are other ways to connect the barrier 31 and the ventilation member 32, such as soldering or clamping.
  • The shape of the section of the circular groove 323 is any of a rectangle, a triangle, or a semicircle. Preferably, in order to make manufacturing process more convenient, the section of the circular groove 323 is a rectangle in this embodiment.
  • For the reason that the axial holes 322 and the circular groove 323 have formed a communicated space, the air atomized will be output around through axial holes 322 at first and then through circular concave 323 when smoking
  • FIG. 8 illustrates a third embodiment of the electronic cigarette in the present invention. The air outlet 32 includes at least one axial holes 322 set axially on the ventilation piece 32 and at least one circumferential holes 321 set circumferentially on the ventilation piece 32. Both the axial holes 322 and the circumferential holes 321 are in communication with the interior of the atomizer 1. The barrier 31 and the ventilation piece 32 are in permanent connection and the two surround together to form a annular groove 323 that is in communication with the axial holes 322.
  • The differences between the third embodiment and the second embodiment are described below. In the third embodiment there are not only axial holes 322 set axially but also circumferential holes set circumferentially. Meanwhile, the ventilation piece 32 is hollow to communicate the axial holes 322 and the circumferential holes 321 with the interior of the atomizer at the same time.
  • When the number of the axial holes 322 and circumferential holes 321 is more than one, both the axial holes 322 and the circumferential holes 321 are set uniformly, making the outputted smoke even.
  • In the three embodiments mentioned above, the axial holes or the circumferential holes can be inclined holes or straight holes. As a preferred selection, the area of the axial hole or the circumferential hole may be 2-6 mm2, and the shape of these holes can be any of a circle, a polygon, or a oval.
  • More over, in these three embodiments, the lower end of the ventilation piece 32 (namely the cigarette holder cover 3) is provided with a connecting part 33 that is connected with the protective sleeve 10 by interference fit. It should be understood that the connecting part 33 can be connected with the protective sleeve 10 through screwing or adhesion.
  • When the connecting part 33 and the protective sleeve 10 are connected through screwing, an external thread is defined on the protective sleeve 10 while an internal thread is defined on the connecting part 33, so that the cigarette holder cover 3 and the protective sleeve 10 can be connected to each other through screwing the external thread and the internal thread. As a preferred selection, an internal thread is defined on the protective sleeve 10 while an external thread is defined on the connecting part 33, so that the connecting part 33 and the protective sleeve can be connected to each other through screwing.
  • FIG. 7 and FIG. 8 illustrate a schematic view of the removable electronic cigarette with the cigarette holder cover in the second embodiment, and a schematic view of the integrated electronic cigarette with the cigarette holder cover in the first embodiment. It should be understood that the structures of cigarette holder cover in the first embodiment, second embodiment and third embodiment can be applied to both removable electronic cigarettes and integrated electronic cigarettes.
  • By setting the barrier 31, the electronic cigarettes can effectively prevent the spit and breath from reflowing to the atomizer 1, and also prevent the tobacco tar from being inhaled through the air outlet, and the volume of the outputted smoke can be increased because of the multiple holes in the air outlet, thus enhancing the taste.
  • While the present invention has been described with reference to preferred embodiments, however, the present invention is not limited to above-mentioned embodiments, those modifications, improvements and equivalent substitutions, which don't depart from the scope of the spirit and the principle of the present invention, should be included within the scope of the present invention.
