Abstract

A new and improved brush is disclosed which would allow a user to both brush and squee gee a vehicle. The brush head would be approximately eight to ten inches in length, three to five inches in width, and three to four inches in height, and would have a plurality of bristles on one side of it, similar to that of a typical brush head. In addition, the brush head would have at least one “squee gee” blade, which would allow a user to squee gee, or wipe clean, the windows of a car after they would be scrubbed by the plurality of bristles.

Description

I. BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

The present invention concerns that of a new and improved brush which would allow a user to both brush and squee gee a vehicle.

II. DESCRIPTION OF THE PRIOR ART

U.S. Pat. No. 4,240,176, issued to Farmer, discloses a pair of longitudinally extending channel members which are releasably held together by clamping means.

U.S. Pat. No. 1,761,180, issued to Cave, discloses a tool designed for cleaning windows and similar surfaces that washes and dries a cleaned surface efficiently and quickly.

U.S. Pat. No. 1,259,245, issued to Cooper, discloses a new and useful improvement concerning scrub brushes which are provided with mop attachments.

U.S. Pat. No. 206,212, issued to Balch, discloses a new and useful improvement in floor scrubbers.

III. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The present invention concerns that of a new and improved brush which would allow a user to both brush and squee gee a vehicle. The brush head would be approximately eight to ten inches in length, three to five inches in width, and three to four inches in height, and would have a plurality of bristles on one side of it, similar to that of a typical brush head. In addition, the brush head would have at least one “squee gee” blade, which would allow a user to squee gee, or wipe clean, the windows of a car after they would be scrubbed by the plurality of bristles.

There has thus been outlined, rather broadly, the more important features of a vehicle brush in order that the detailed description thereof that follows may be better understood and in order that the present contribution to the art may be better appreciated. There are, of course, additional features of the vehicle brush that will be described hereinafter and which will form the subject matter of the claims appended hereto.

In this respect, before explaining at least one embodiment of the vehicle brush in detail, it is to be understood that the vehicle brush is not limited in its application to the details of construction and to the arrangements of the components set forth in the following description or illustrated in the drawings. The vehicle brush is capable of other embodiments and being practiced and carried out in various ways. Also, it is to be understood that the phraseology and terminology employed herein are for the purpose of descriptions and should not be regarded as limiting.

As such, those skilled in the art will appreciate that the conception, upon which this disclosure is based, may readily be utilized as a basis for the designing of other structures, methods and systems for carrying out the several purposes of the present vehicle brush. It is important, therefore, that the claims be regard as including such equivalent constructions insofar as they do not depart from the spirit and scope of the present invention.

It is therefore an object of the present invention to provide a vehicle brush which has all of the advantages of the prior art and none of the disadvantages.

It is another object of the present invention to provide a vehicle brush which may be easily and efficiently manufactured and marketed.

It is another object of the present invention to provide a vehicle brush which is of durable and reliable construction.

It is yet another object of the present invention to provide a vehicle brush which is economically affordable and available for the buying public.

Other objects, features and advantages of the present invention will become more readily apparent from the following detailed description of the preferred embodiment when considered with the attached drawings and appended claims.

V. DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

FIG. 1 shows a perspective view of the present invention. The present invention concerns that of a new and improved [0017] brush 2 which would allow a user to both brush and squee gee a vehicle. The brush head 4 of the brush 2 would be approximately eight to ten inches in length, three to five inches in width, and three to four inches in height and would have two sides, a bottom side 6 and a top side 8. The bottom side 6 would have a plurality of bristles 10 attached to it in a manner similar to that of a brush head associated with a typical brush. In addition, the brush head would have at least one “squee gee” blade 12, which would traverse the length of the brush head 4 and stick out from a side of the brush head 4. The squee gee blade 12 would allow a user to squee gee, or wipe clean, the windows of a vehicle after they would be scrubbed by the plurality of bristles 10.
The top side [0018] 8 of brush head 4 has hole 14, in which handle 16 can be inserted. Handle 16 is ideally at least three to four feet long, which would allow brush 2 to be easily used to scrub all windows on the outside of a vehicle with relative ease.
FIG. 2 shows the present invention in use on [0019] various windows 18 of a vehicle 20. Brush 2 on the right is shown being used to scrub the windows 18, while brush 2 on the right is shown being used to squee gee a window 18.

Claims

What I claim as my invention is:

1. A cleaning apparatus comprising:

(a) a brush head having two surfaces, a top surface and a bottom surface, the brush head preferably being approximately eight inches in length and approximately three to five inches in width, the brush head having two ends, a first end and a second end, the brush head having a pair of sides, a first side and a second side,

(b) a hole located on the top surface of the brush head, the hole being located near the second side of the brush head approximately halfway between the first end and the second end,

(c) a pole having two ends, a first end and a second end, the first end of the pole being removably inserted into the hole,

(d) a plurality of bristles attached to the bottom surface of the brush head, and

(e) a rubber blade attached lengthwise to the top surface of the brush head near the first side of the brush head.

2. A cleaning apparatus according to claim 1 wherein the pole would be approximately three to four feet long.

3. A cleaning apparatus according to claim 1 wherein the height of the brush head combined with the length of the plurality of bristles would be approximately three to four inches.
