The invention relates chiefly to improye merits in blotting rollers to be USGClWltll fountain pens. The main object being to 7 provide an eflicient means at the sides of the rollers to prevent unwinding when in use,

I attain all these objects in various ways and the preferred manner of carrying out the invention is shown by Figures 1 to 6 inclusive 1 details of which are set forth in the following description and claims.
