This invention relates to connecting Ts for drainage fittings, and has for one of its objects to provide a unit connecting member or T adapted for arrangement in the space between the ceiling of one room and the floor of the next room in a building which will greatly facilitate the installation of the fitting, and more particularly the revent pipesections thereof. t
More particularly, it is the object of my invention to eliminate the necessity of providing what is commonly known as a j umpover in the vent pipe section in order to enable the same to be positioned in the plane of the main waste pipe .and at right angles to a lateral extension of the connecting T with which a secondary waste pipe from a basin or other fitting is adaptedtobe connected. It is also an object of my invention to provide a one-piece unitary T or connection for the main waste pipe and vent pipe sections which is provided with reinforced internally threaded hub portions with which they waste pipe sections may be easily connected in, accurate alignment with eachother and with assurance against leakage. i 7 It is a further general object of my invention to provide a unit. or T connection for drainage, systems as above characterized, which may be readily produced atrnominal manufacturing cost, and which will materially decrease the expense incident to the installation of such drainage systems especially in connection with large building operations. With the above 'andother objects in view the invention consists in theimproved connecting unit or T for drainage systems, and in the form, construction and relative arrangement of its several parts as will be 40 hereinafter more fully described, illustrated in the accompanying drawings, and subsequently incorporated in the subjoined claims. f In the drawings, wherein I have illustrated several simple and practical embodiments of the invention, and in which similar reference characters designate corresponding parts throughout the several views,-

Referring in detail to the drawing, 5'designates the several ,main waste pipe sections as which extend vertically and are substantially equivalent in length to the distance between the floor and ceiling ofthe building room, while 6 designates the usual main vent pipe sections. These waste and vent pipe sections in the present invention, areconnected in vertical alignment with each other by a common j one piece T casting or connecting member generally indicated at 7. 1
The member 7has a main body portion, one side wall of which is provided with one or more connecting hubs or nipples such as that shown'at 8 whereby drain pipes extending from the bath tub, basin or other fittings may beconnected with said member. The member 7 is also formed with alaterally extending connecting nipple 9 with which a drain pipe positioned horizontally between the ceiling and floor of the building may be connected. 7 v
At one side of the drain pipe connection 8 and above and below the same, the connecting T 7 is formed with the hubs 10, the'wallsof which are comparatively thick in relation to the sidewalls of the T member so that these hubs 10 may be internally threaded as indi-. cated atll without weakenin'gthe wall structure.
