My invention relates, principally, to thatclass of flower-stands which are designed for indoor use or decoration; and consists in a novel construction and arrangement of the parts, as hereinafter fully set forth and claimed, by

which a more desirable article of this character is produced than is now in ordinary use. The nature and operation of my lnvention L will be readily obvious to all conversant with such matters from the following description In the drawing, A A are the fixed supporting-brackets of the stand, being represented as attached to the casing or frame of the window by the screws a a'. These brackets are provided at their outer or free endswith rabbets or sockets C C, into which the ends of horizontally-arranged cross-bar D are fitted, as'shown. A pot-stand, H, having a laterallymortisedbody, F, and provided with the set- Y screw Gr, is fitted toslide on the bar D, by

which it is supported, and on which it is held, at any desired point, by means of the setscrew. Supported by the brackets A A are two swinging side brackets, B B, carrying at their outer ends the pot-stands K K, their inner ends being journaled at d d.

It will be apparent that a series of adjustable flowenpot stands, H, may be arranged on the bar D, and that the forni or shape of the same may be varied, as desired 3 also, that the brackets A A may be attached directly to the sash, instead ofthe casing `ot' the window, and that the swinging brackets B B maybe omitted, without entirely departing from the spirit of my invention; which having thus described,
