SHOW CASE.
Application filed January having to leave a customer to find goods stored 111 a basement or upon a high shelf will be obvious.
In the accompanying drawings it is sought to illustrate how this may be accomplished, using one of the many means available for this purpose.
Fig. 1, is a vertical section showing the sales fioor and the room below in which the raising and lowering mechanism is installed, it also shows the show case and the balancing means. Fig. 2, is a front view showing fragmentary portions of the show cases on the sales floor. Fig. 3, is an enlarged horizontal cross section showing the guide rail and wheels traversing the said rail. Fig. 4:, is an enlarged vertical elevation of a portion of the rail and show case units, showing particularly the guide wheels in relation to the show case units and rails.

What I claim is 1 A sectional. vertically extending merchandise holder havingshelves therein, said holder being of sufiicient height to extend from the floor to approximately the ceiling of a salesroom and means for independently and bodily loweringeach section of said. holder through the floor of the room in which it is placed so to place the normally inaccessible shelves in the upper parts of the holder within convenient reach.
