Be it known that I, HENRY BUENNEMANN, a citizen of the United States, residing at Pittsburgh, in the county of Allegheny and State of Pennsylvania, have invented new and useful Im rovements in Cigarette Holders, of whic the following is a specification.

One of the main objects of the invention is to provide a device of simple construction and operation which may be worn on the finger and which serves to hold a cigarette or similar article. A further object is to provide a device of the character stated of neat appearance and which can be readily produced at small cost. will appear from the detailed description.-

The device includesa split ring 1 of any suitable or preferred material, having thedesired amount of resiliency to clamp about the finger when placed thereon. A pin 6 is inserted through ring 1, post 2 and clamping member 3, this pin being provided at its lower end with a head 7. The. vpin is secured through post 2 and through ring 3 by soldering or in any other suitable or preferred manner and serves to secure the ring and the post and clamping member together. This pin also provides a securing element which sticks into a cigarette or similar article inserted into clamp 3 so as to effectively prevent accidental displacement of the cigarette, as indicated in Figure 3. This provides simple and efficient means for holding a cigarette or similar article in such manner as to permit free use of the hand, the cigarette being readily available when desired.
What I claim is 2-- In a device of the character described, a ring, a clamp, and a pin secured through said ring and clamp and acting to secure the same to ether, said pin projecting i nto the clamp For engagement into an article inserted'into said clamp.
