My inventionrelates to a rack lor container and particularly to such an articleas may serve for'the deposit of'bottles containing milk and for the collection of suchbottles when empty.

One important objectV is to provide a structure of this type optionally having one or more compartments, but having preferably a plurality of compartments differlng in size and being efiectively correlated and braced. i

Another object of importanceis to provide a structure ofthis classfwhich may be made from strip metal `and have its parts -effectively constructed and braced 1n the particular manner hereinafter .descr1bed, relative to accompanying Vdrawlngs illustrating my present preferred embodnnent.

11. In a device of the class described, a rack having a frame provided With an overlapped portion, a base for the rack, a side rising from the base and abutting the end of said portion to brace the side against strain in one direction, and means to fasten the side in rigid relation with the frame.
