Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. 115,175, dated May 23, 1871.

I, BIRAM C. DAVIS, of Binghamton, in the county of Broome and State of New York, have invented certain Improvements in Boxing Blind-Staples, of which the following is a specification:

This invention relates to arranging windowblind staples in uniform position in boxes for market. The object is to facilitate the operation of Wiring blinds by machinery.

Figure l is a perspective viewof the opened box, showing the manner the staples are placed therein. Fig. 2 is a View of a strip of wood, or its equivalent, upon which the staples are gathered astride, in uniform position.

After I load them with staples, as shown in Fig. 2, I drop them in the grooves B B in the box A, one strip or bar resting upon the other, which grooves hold the strips and staples thereon in a uniform and upright position, as shown in Fig. 1.
