HICKERSON, a citizen of the United States, residing at Brooklyn, in the county of Kings and State of New York, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Supportin Devices; and I do hereby declare the ollowing to be a full, clear, and exact description of the invention, such as will enable others skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use the same, reference being bad to the accompanying drawings, and to characters of reference marked thereon, which form a part of this specification.

From the foregoing description of the present invention it will be evident that I have devised a simple, cheap, strong and durable hanger device which is particularly adapted for supporting heavy walls or perpendicular places.
I am aware that some changes may be made in the arrangements and combinations of the parts, as well as in the details of the construction of the same, without departing from the scope of this invention. Hence, I
donot limit my invention to the exact arrangements and combinations of the parts as described in ,the foregoing specification and as illustrated in the accompanying drawings, nor do I confine myself to the ex: act details of the construction of the said parts, except as limited by the scope of the appended claims.
I claim:- 1. In a device of the kind described, the combination with a supporting hook-member of a removable eye-member, said hook-' member comprising a body-portion, and a hook-portion turned upwardly from the lower end of said body portion, and said eye-member comprising a body-portion, an
eye-portion extending outwardly from the upper end of said body-portion provided with an opening to receive said hook-portion of said hook-member, and means for engaging said hook-portion to prevent lateral swinging of said eye-member thereon comprising, a pair of upwardly extending lugs turned up from the lateral marginal edges of said opening of said eye-portion.
