Abstract

The proposed control station of a telemechanics system is designed for data communication with several monitored objects via a radial or trunk communication line, with time division multiplex of signals. The proposed control station provides for improving functional capabilities of the telemechanics system due to enhancing the reliability in transmitting information messages. The control station divides the communication line into a number of sections. The output data the control station are transmitted to the communication line sections in parallel. When receiving the data, the state of each of the communication line sections is monitored. The subsequent data processing is accomplished only for the data that are received from the operating communication line section. The proposed design of the communication system provides the possibility to connect monitored objects with different characteristics to one common control station as well as to increase a total number of monitored objects and distances between the objects while maintaining high data rate and invariant values of the other system operation parameters.
