斷電指示裝置及其斷電指示方法
本發明是有關於一種指示裝置,且特別是有關於一種斷電指示裝置及其斷電指示方法。
一般而言,電子裝置通常都會設有露出於機殼的狀態指示裝置,以讓使用者能夠瞭解電子裝置的運作狀態。舉例來說,保全系統或食品冷凍裝置中的斷電指示器可利用指示燈或液晶螢幕來指示電源供應是否正常,例如是否曾經斷電,以確保使用者的居家安全或食品的品質無虞。通常來說,狀態指示裝置需持續供應額外的電源(例如電池),以確保可正常地進行顯示,然如此將持續地消耗電源。
本發明提供一種斷電指示裝置及其斷電指示方法,可有效地指示電源是否曾經斷電,而不需持續地供電給斷電指示裝置。
本發明的斷電指示裝置包括電泳顯示器、斷電偵測電路以及標籤讀取器。斷電偵測電路耦接電泳顯示器,且斷電偵測電路偵測電源,並於電源斷電時提供儲存電壓給電泳顯示器,以控制電泳顯示器顯示斷電資訊。標籤讀取器耦接電泳顯示器,且標籤讀取器可讀取電子標籤,以重置電泳顯示器的顯示狀態。
在本發明的一實施例中,上述的斷電偵測電路包括電能儲存元件以及開關電路。電能儲存元件的第一端耦接電源,電能儲存元件的第二端耦接接地。開關電路耦接於電源與電泳顯示器之間,於電源所提供的電源電壓未低於臨界電壓時處於斷開狀態,於電源電壓低於臨界電壓時處於導通狀態,而將電能儲存元件所儲存的儲存電壓提供給電泳顯示器。
在本發明的一實施例中,上述的開關電路包括分壓電路以及開關。分壓電路耦接電源,分壓電源電壓以提供分壓電壓。開關耦接於電源與電泳顯示器之間,開關的控制端接收分壓電壓。
在本發明的一實施例中,上述的分壓電路包括第一電阻以及第二電阻。第二電阻與第一電阻串接於電能儲存元件的第一端與接地之間,且第一電阻與第二電阻的共同接點耦接電源以及開關的控制端。
在本發明的一實施例中,上述的開關包括P型電晶體。
在本發明的一實施例中,上述的斷電偵測電路包括整流電路,耦接電源、開關電路與電能儲存元件,使流經整流電路的電流單向地由電源流向電能儲存元件。
在本發明的一實施例中,上述的電子標籤包括近場通訊標籤,讀取器包括近場通訊讀取器。
本發明還提供一種斷電指示裝置的斷電指示方法,斷電指示裝置包括電泳顯示器,斷電指示裝置的斷電指示方法包括下列步驟。偵測電源。判斷電源是否斷電。於電源斷電時,提供儲存電壓給電泳顯示器,以控制電泳顯示器顯示斷電資訊。並且判斷是否讀取到電子標籤。若讀取到電子標籤,重置電泳顯示器的顯示狀態。
在本發明的一實施例中,上述的電子標籤包括近場通訊標籤,讀取器包括近場通訊讀取器。
在本發明的一實施例中,若電源未斷電,對斷電指示裝置內的電能儲存元件進行充電,電能儲存元件進行充電用以提供儲存電壓。
基於上述,本發明實施例的斷電偵測電路可於電源斷電,提供儲存電壓給電泳顯示器,以控制電泳顯示器顯示斷電資訊,由於電泳顯示器不需持續地供電即可維持其顯示內容,因此可有效地指示電源是否曾經斷電,而不會有需持續供電的問題。此外,依據標籤讀取器所讀取的電子標籤來重置電泳顯示器的顯示狀態可提高使用便利性,並可達到加密保護的效果。

圖1是依照本發明一實施例之斷電指示裝置的示意圖,請參照圖1。斷電指示裝置100包括電泳顯示器102、斷電偵測電路104以及標籤讀取器106,電泳顯示器102耦接斷電偵測電路104以及標籤讀取器106。電泳顯示器102可用以顯示斷電指示裝置100所監控的電源VDD的供電情形,舉例來說,若電源VDD未曾斷電,電泳顯示器102顯示白色畫面(其也可視為未顯示影像內容),而當電源VDD斷電時,電泳顯示器102顯示白色畫面可顯示紅色畫面,值得注意的是,電泳顯示器102所顯示的顏色或內容並不以此為限。斷電偵測電路104可偵測電源VDD的供電情形,當電源斷電時斷電偵測電路104可提供儲存電壓VC給電泳顯示器102,以控制電泳顯示器102顯示斷電資訊(例如上述的紅色畫面)。由於電泳顯示器102具有不需持續供電給畫素便可維持顯示畫面的特性,因此在電泳顯示器102接收儲存電壓VC而改變其 顯示畫面後,即可持續地維持改變後的顯示畫面,而不需再持續地接收電壓。因此,斷電指示裝置100可有效地指示電源VDD是否曾經斷電,而不會有需額外的電源持續供電的問題。此外,利用電泳顯示器102來顯示斷電資訊除了可減低電源消耗外,還可降低斷電指示裝置100的製作成本。
此外,為避免使用者在重置電泳顯示器102的顯示狀態(例如將其顯示畫面重置為白色畫面)時,需將電泳顯示器102自斷電指示裝置100上拆卸下來,才能使用額外的電源對電泳顯示器102進行重置。本實施例的斷電指示裝置100可藉由標籤讀取器106來重置電泳顯示器102,即由標籤讀取器106來提供重置電泳顯示器102所需的電源,而不需拆卸電泳顯示器102,進而可有效地提高使用便利性。標籤讀取器106可用以讀取電子標籤,電子標籤可例如為射頻識別標籤(Radio Frequency Identification(RFID)tag)或近場通訊標籤(Near Field Communication(NFC)tag)等,然不以此為限,電子標籤可例如記錄用戶資訊、指令(例如重置指令)…等等。標籤讀取器106可依據所讀取到電子標籤中的資訊,來重置電泳顯示器102的顯示狀態。
進一步來說,在電子標籤以RFID標籤實現的情況下,標籤讀取器106可包括RFID晶片(未繪示),在電子標籤以NFC標籤實現的情況下,標籤讀取器106可包括NFC晶片(未繪示)。或者,標籤讀取器106也可包括將RFID晶片與NFC晶片整合在一起的晶片,使得標籤讀取器106除了可讀取RFID標籤也可讀取NFC 標籤。此外,標籤讀取器106還可例如包括微控制器(未繪示),其可依據RFID晶片或NFC晶片所讀取到的資訊(例如重置指令)來控制電泳顯示器102重置其顯示畫面。如此依據標籤讀取器106所讀取的電子標籤來重置電泳顯示器102的顯示狀態除了可提高使用便利性外,還可達到加密保護的效果。
圖2是依照本發明一實施例之斷電偵測電路的示意圖,請參照圖2。進一步來說,上述斷電偵測電路的實施方式可例如圖2所示,斷電偵測電路可例如包括電能儲存元件202、開關電路204以及整流電路206。其中整流電路206耦接於電源VDD與開關電路204之間,其用以使流經整流電路206的電流單向地由電源VDD一端流向電能儲存元件202一端。在本實施例中,整流電路206為以二極體D1來實施,然不以此為限。電能儲存元件202的第一端耦接於整流電路206,電能儲存元件202的第二端耦接接地,電能儲存元件202可例如以本實施例的電容C1來實施,然不以此為限。電容C1可例如為超級電容或雙電層電容器(Electrical Double-Layer Capacitor,EDLC)。另外,開關電路204耦接於整流電路206與電泳顯示器102之間,其導通狀態受控於電源VDD的電源電壓。舉例來說,當電源VDD所提供的電源電壓未超過臨界電壓時,開關電路204處於斷開狀態,此時電源VDD可透過整流電路206對電能儲存元件202進行充電。而當電源電壓超過臨界電壓時,開關電路204處於導通狀態,此時先前儲存於電能儲存元件202的電能獲得釋放,而可透過開關電路204對電泳顯示器 102提供儲存電壓VC,以使電泳顯示器102顯示斷電資訊。由於電泳顯示器102不需持續地供電即可維持其顯示內容,因此可有效地指示電源VDD是否曾經斷電,而不會有需持續供電的問題。
圖3是依照本發明另一實施例之斷電偵測電路的示意圖,請參照圖3。在本實施例中,開關電路204可包括分壓電路302以及開關304,分壓電路302耦接於電源VDD與開關304的控制端,開關304更耦接於整流電路206與電泳顯示器102之間。在本實施例中,分壓電路302可例如包括電阻R1與電阻R2,而開關304則可例如以P型電晶體Q1來實施,然不以此為限。電阻R1與R2串接於電能儲存元件202的第一端與接地之間,且電阻R1與電阻R2的共同接點耦接電源VDD以及開關204的控制端。分壓電路302可對電源VDD所提供的電源電壓進行分壓而提供分壓電壓給開關204的控制端。進一步來說,當電源VDD所提供的電源電壓未低於臨界電壓時(即供電狀態),電阻R1與電阻R2的共同接點所提供的分壓電壓可使P型電晶體Q1處於斷開狀態,此時電源VDD透過整流電路206對電能儲存元件202進行充電。而當電源VDD所提供的電源電壓低於臨界電壓時(例如斷電狀態),電阻R1與電阻R2的共同接點所提供的分壓電壓將使P型電晶體Q1處於導通狀態,此時電泳顯示器102可藉由電能儲存元件202所提供的儲存電壓來驅動,而使電泳顯示器102顯示斷電資訊。
值得注意的是,在部分實施例中,上述實施例的斷電偵測電路也可不包括整流電路206,也就是說,電能儲存元件202 的第一端以及開關電路204可不需透過整流電路206耦接至電源VDD。
圖4是依照本發明一實施例之斷電指示裝置的斷電指示方法的流程圖,請參照圖4。由上述實施例可知,斷電指示裝置的斷電指示方法可至少包括下列步驟。首先,偵測電源(步驟S402)。接著,判斷電源是否斷電(步驟S404)。當電源斷電時,提供儲存電壓給電泳顯示器,以控制電泳顯示器顯示斷電資訊(步驟S406)。相反地,若電源未斷電,則回到步驟S402,繼續偵測電源。此外,在步驟S406之後,可接著判斷是否讀取到電子標籤(步驟S408),當讀取到電子標籤時,可重置電泳顯示器的顯示狀態(步驟S410),使斷電指示裝置可繼續地偵測電源的供電情形,如此可提高斷電指示裝置的使用便利性,並達到加密保護的效果。相反地,若未讀取到電子標籤,則回到步驟S408,繼續判斷是否讀取到電子標籤。
綜上所述,本發明實施例的斷電偵測電路可於電源斷電時,提供儲存電壓給電泳顯示器,以控制電泳顯示器顯示斷電資訊,由於電泳顯示器不需持續地供電即可維持其顯示內容,因此可有效地指示電源是否曾經斷電,而不會有需持續供電的問題。此外,依據標籤讀取器所讀取的電子標籤來重置電泳顯示器的顯示狀態可提高使用便利性,並可達到加密保護的效果。
雖然本發明已以實施例揭露如上,然其並非用以限定本發明,任何所屬技術領域中具有通常知識者,在不脫離本發明的 精神和範圍內,當可作些許的更動與潤飾,故本發明的保護範圍當視後附的申請專利範圍所界定者為準。

Claims (10)

  1. 一種斷電指示裝置,包括:一電泳顯示器;一斷電偵測電路,耦接該電泳顯示器,該斷電偵測電路偵測一電源,並於該電源所提供的一電源電壓低於一臨界電壓時提供一儲存電壓給該電泳顯示器,以控制該電泳顯示器顯示一斷電資訊;以及一標籤讀取器,耦接該電泳顯示器,該標籤讀取器讀取一電子標籤,以重置該電泳顯示器的顯示狀態。
  2. 如申請專利範圍第1項所述的斷電指示裝置,其中該斷電偵測電路包括:一電能儲存元件,其第一端耦接該電源,該電能儲存元件的第二端接地;以及一開關電路,耦接於該電源與該電泳顯示器之間,於該電源所提供的該電源電壓未低於該臨界電壓時,該電源對該電能儲存元件進行充電,於該電源電壓低於該臨界電壓時,該電能儲存元件所儲存的該儲存電壓提供給該電泳顯示器。
  3. 如申請專利範圍第2項所述的斷電指示裝置,其中該開關電路包括:一分壓電路,耦接該電源,該分壓電路分壓該電源電壓以提供一分壓電壓;以及一開關,耦接於該電源與該電泳顯示器之間,該開關的控制 端接收該分壓電壓。
  4. 如申請專利範圍第3項所述的斷電指示裝置,其中該分壓電路包括:一第一電阻;以及一第二電阻,與該第一電阻串接於該電能儲存元件的第一端與該接地之間,該第一電阻與該第二電阻的共同接點耦接該電源以及該開關的控制端。
  5. 如申請專利範圍第3項所述的斷電指示裝置,其中該開關包括P型電晶體。
  6. 如申請專利範圍第2項所述的斷電指示裝置,其中該斷電偵測電路包括:一整流電路,耦接該電源、該開關電路以及該電能儲存元件。
  7. 如申請專利範圍第2項所述的斷電指示裝置,其中該電子標籤包括近場通訊標籤,該讀取器包括近場通訊讀取器。
  8. 一種斷電指示裝置的斷電指示方法,該斷電指示裝置包括電泳顯示器,該斷電指示裝置的斷電指示方法包括:偵測一電源;若該電源未斷電,則繼續偵測該電源;判斷該電源所提供的一電源電壓是否低於一臨界電壓;於該電源所提供的該電源電壓低於該臨界電壓時,提供一儲存電壓給該電泳顯示器,以控制該電泳顯示器顯示斷電資訊;判斷是否讀取到一電子標籤; 若未讀取到該電子標籤,則繼續判斷是否讀取到該電子標籤;以及若讀取到該電子標籤,重置該電泳顯示器的顯示狀態。
  9. 如申請專利範圍第8項所述的斷電指示裝置的斷電指示方法,其中該電子標籤包括近場通訊標籤,該讀取器包括近場通訊讀取器。
  10. 如申請專利範圍第8項所述的斷電指示裝置的斷電指示方法,其中若該電源未斷電,對該斷電指示裝置內的一電能儲存元件進行充電,該電能儲存元件進行充電用以提供該儲存電壓。
