Description
本發明係與自行車座墊有關,特別是關於一種自行車座墊之製法,依該製法所生產出的自行車座墊除了可支撐騎乘者之重量外,更可提供騎乘時的舒適感。
美國第5,441,676號專利案揭露了一種自行車座墊的製法,依該製法所製成的自行車座墊具有一凝膠層,藉著該凝膠層的流動彈性來提供乘座時的舒適感,而該製法,主要是先將座墊之外覆層以真空吸引方式貼附於一模具之模穴內壁,然後將凝膠以及PU發泡材料分別灌注到模穴內,使外覆層之內表面先後堆疊出一凝膠層與一發泡層,再讓座墊內殼結合於外覆層及發泡層而完成整體自行車座墊。該種製法之缺點如該專利案的第2圖所示,該座墊凝膠層與發泡層的交接處會形成有階部,此階部將使騎乘者之胯部與腿部無法與座墊平順地接觸,當騎乘的時間一長,騎乘者之胯部及腿部會因過度摩擦而不舒服甚而受傷。
基此,一種可改進習用自行車座墊製法缺失之新製法有待被提出。
本發明即是在提供一種新的自行車座墊製法,該自行車座墊通常具有一底殼,一彈性墊,以及一表層,該彈性墊具有一支撐層以及一承壓層,該支撐層係由一第一塑膠發泡材料所製成;該承壓層係由一第二塑膠發泡材料所製成。該製法在實施時,必須使用一模具,該模具包含有一下模,一中模,一上模,以及一壓框,該下模具有一開口朝上的模穴,該中模係以可置入或移開之方式佈置於該模穴內。該製法首先是將該表層佈置於該下模之模穴壁面,並使該表層具有一超出該模穴頂緣之週邊;接著,將該壓框疊置於該模穴頂緣用以將該表層之週邊拘束於該壓框與該模穴頂緣之間;然後,以真空方式使該表層緊密地貼附於該模穴之內壁;繼之,將預定量之第二塑膠發泡材料注入該模穴內;之後,將該中模佈置於該模穴內,用以在在該模穴界定出一第一部份,供該第二塑膠發泡材料發泡形成該承壓層;再繼之,將該中模維持於前述之狀態一第一預定時間後將其移除;接著,將預定量之第一塑膠發泡材料注入該模穴內,該第一塑膠發泡材料於受壓後回彈之速度較該第二塑膠發泡材料為快;而後,將該底殼佈置於該上模表面,並蓋合於該下模上,用以於該底殼與該承壓層之間界定出一第二部分,供該第一塑膠發泡材料發泡形成該支撐層;然後,將該上模維持於前述之狀態一第二預定時間後將該上模及壓框移開,並取出該成品。
首先請參閱第1圖至第3圖,圖號10所示者為依據本發明一較佳實施所製成之自行車座墊,其包含有一底殼20,一彈性墊30,以及一表層40。
該底殼20在形狀上一般具有一窄前部22,如第3圖所示,一寬後部24,如第2圖所示,以及一自該窄前部22往該寬後部24延伸之長軸X-X’。
該彈性墊30包含有一支撐層50以及一承壓層70。該支撐層50係佈置於該底殼20之頂面,該承壓層70係佈置於該支撐層50之頂面。該支撐層50具有一第一上表面502,一第一側表面504,一連接該第一上表面502與該第一側表面504之第一凸弧面506,以及一貼附於該底殼20頂面之第一下表面508。
該承壓層70具有一第二上表面702,一第二側表面704,一連接該第二上表面702與該第二該側表面704之第二凸弧面706,以及一第二下表面708,該第二下表面具有一凹弧部710。該第二上表面702,該第二凸弧面706,以及該第二該側表面704係與該表層40貼附在一起。該第二下表面708係貼附於該支撐層50之該第一上表面502上,而該凹弧部710係貼附於該第一凸弧面506上。再者,該第二側表面704之下側端與該凹弧部710之下側端係接合在一起,用以界定出一周邊712,該周邊712係與該第一側表面504之上側端連接在一起,如此,將可使該彈性墊30具有一平順的外側面。也就是說,該座墊承壓層70與支撐層50的交接處不會有階部形成,騎乘者之胯部與腿部與該座墊係平順地接觸,因而可減少騎乘時所產生的不舒服感。
本發明所提供之製法係用來製造前揭之自行車座墊10,以下茲配合第4a~g圖對該製法之一較佳實施例做詳細的說明。
請參閱第4a~g圖,該自行車座墊10通常係以一組模具所製成,該組模具包含有一下模80,一中模82,一上模84,以及一介於該上、下模80、84之間的壓框86。該下模80具有一開口朝上的模穴802,該中模82係以可置入或移開之方式佈置於該模穴802內。
請參閱第4-b圖,首先係將該表層40佈置於該模穴802壁面,並使該表層40具有一超出該模穴頂緣之週邊401,一般而言,該表層40可以布質,皮質,人造皮或其他合成材料製成。
接著,將該壓框86疊置於該模穴802頂緣用以將該該表層40之週邊401拘束於該壓框86與該模穴802頂緣之間,在此同時,可以真空吸附方式使該表層40緊密地貼附於該模穴802內壁。

再請參閱第4-d圖,當該第二塑膠發泡材料被注入該模穴802後,接著,將該中模82佈置於該模穴802之一適當位置,用以在該模穴802界定出一第一部份804,供該第二塑膠發泡材料發泡形成該承壓層70。一般而言,該中模82具有一底面820,當該中模82被佈置於該模穴802內時,可藉該底面820與該模穴802之壁面形成該第一部份804之形狀。再者,為了使該中模82固定在該模穴802內,本製法係在該中模82佈置於該模穴802後,再以該上模84壓制該中模82。另外,於本實施例,該模穴802具有一呈凹弧狀之側壁面,該中模82之底面820具有一凸弧部822,該凸弧部822可貼合於該側壁面之一部份,用以使該模穴802之第一部份804具有一呈彎月狀之側邊806。如此設計,即可形成該承壓層70之第二凸弧面706,凹弧部710以及周邊712。

最後,請參閱第4-g圖,使該上模84及壓框86維持於前述之狀態一第二預定時間後,再將該上模84與該壓框86打開,此時,即可自該下模80取出該自行車座墊10,於本實施例,該第二預定時間約為4至6分鐘,最佳約為5分鐘。

Claims (11)
- 一種自行車座墊之製法,該座墊具有一底殼,一彈性墊,以及一表層,該彈性墊具有一支撐層以及一承壓層,該支撐層係由一第一塑膠發泡材料所製成;該承壓層係由一第二塑膠發泡材料所製成;該製法係使用一模具,該模具包含有一下模,一中模,一上模,以及一壓框,該下模具有一開口朝上的模穴,該中模係以可置入或移開之方式佈置於該模穴內;該製法包含有如下之步驟: 將該表層佈置於該下模之模穴壁面,並使該表層具有一超出該模穴頂緣之週邊; 將該壓框疊置於該模穴頂緣用以將該表層之週邊拘束於該壓框與該模穴頂緣之間; 以真空吸附方式使該表層緊密地貼附於該模穴之內壁; 將預定量之第二塑膠發泡材料注入該模穴內; 將該中模佈置於該模穴內,用以在該模穴界定出一第一部份,供該第二塑膠發泡材料發泡形成該承壓層; 將該中模維持於前述之狀態一第一預定時間後將其移除; 將預定量之第一塑膠發泡材料注入該模穴內,該第一塑膠發泡材料於受壓後回彈之速度較該第二塑膠發泡材料為快; 將該底殼佈置於該上模表面,並一起蓋合於該下模上,用以於該底殼與該承壓層之間界定出一第二部分,供該第一塑膠發泡材料發泡形成該支撐層;以及 將該上模維持於前述之狀態一第二預定時間後,再將該上模與該壓框打開,並取出該成品。
