Claims (15)

  1. 一種液晶顯示裝置之製造方法,其特徵在於:該液晶顯示裝置包含第1基板、與該第1基板相對向之第2基板、設置於該基板間之液晶層、設置於該第1基板之液晶層側之表面之第1配向膜、及設置於該第2基板之液晶層側之表面之第2配向膜;上述製造方法包含:對第1配向膜及/或第2配向膜進行遍及複數個像素之連續掃描曝光;該掃描曝光包含:一邊掃描各像素內一邊對第1配向膜及/或第2配向膜進行曝光,以便在各像素內形成使液晶分子向相對於第1配向膜及/或第2配向膜表面反平行方向配向之區域;且上述掃描曝光係基於使用相機而檢測出之位置資料,一邊修正基板面上之光線之位置一邊進行。
  2. 如請求項1之液晶顯示裝置之製造方法,其中上述液晶層包含具有負介電常數各向異性之液晶分子;上述第1配向膜及第2配向膜係使液晶分子相對於第1配向膜及第2配向膜表面大致垂直地配向者。
  3. 如請求項2之液晶顯示裝置之製造方法,其係以使對於第1配向膜及第2配向膜之掃描曝光之方向成大致正交之方式,進行第1基板及第2基板之貼合。
  4. 如請求項1之液晶顯示裝置之製造方法,其中上述掃描曝光係於光源與第1配向膜及/或第2配向膜之 間,***光罩而進行。
  5. 如請求項4之液晶顯示裝置之製造方法,其中上述光罩設置有大致直線狀之開口部。
  6. 如請求項5之液晶顯示裝置之製造方法,其中上述開口部之間距為與和掃描曝光之方向垂直之方向上之像素間距相同之長度。
  7. 如請求項1之液晶顯示裝置之製造方法,其中上述掃描曝光係自第1基板及/或第2基板之一端至另一端為止連續掃描。
  8. 如請求項1之液晶顯示裝置之製造方法,其中於上述掃描曝光中,自相對於基板面之法線傾斜之方向入射光線;上述光線之入射角相對於基板面之法線為5°以上、70°以下。
  9. 如請求項1之液晶顯示裝置之製造方法,其中於上述掃描曝光中,對第1配向膜及/或第2配向膜照射偏光。
  10. 如請求項1之液晶顯示裝置之製造方法,其中於上述掃描曝光中,對第1配向膜及/或第2配向膜照射紫外線。
  11. 如請求項1之液晶顯示裝置之製造方法,其中上述液晶分子之預傾角為85°以上、未達90°。
  12. 如請求項1之液晶顯示裝置之製造方法,其中上述液晶分子之預傾角之偏差為0.5°以內。
  13. 如請求項1之液晶顯示裝置之製造方法,其中使液晶分子向相對於第1配向膜及/或第2配向膜表面反平行方向配向之上述區域之寬度為與掃描方向垂直之方向上之像素間距之約一半。
  14. 如請求項13之液晶顯示裝置之製造方法,其中使液晶分子向相對於第1配向膜及/或第2配向膜表面反平行方向配向之上述區域於像素內之面積比相等。
  15. 如請求項1之液晶顯示裝置之製造方法,其中上述製造方法應用於VATN模式之液晶顯示裝置之製造中;上述液晶顯示裝置係於第1基板側具有第1偏光板、於第2基板側具有第2偏光板者;上述第1配向膜之配向方位與第1偏光板之吸收軸平行,且第2配向膜之配向方位與第2偏光板之吸收軸平行。
