Claims (14)

  1. 一種偏光板保護薄膜,其特徵係當薄膜面內之雙折射成為最大之X軸方向的折射率為nx,在薄膜面內與前述X軸方向正交(Orthogonal)之Y軸方向的折射率為ny時,在50℃、80%RH條件下,將5MPa~35MPa之任一的伸張應力施加於前述薄膜之X軸方向或Y軸方向時,在波長589nm下所測定之前述薄膜的應力下雙折射(nx-ny)成為0,且含有丙烯酸樹脂與纖維素酯,前述丙烯酸樹脂與前述纖維素酯之質量比為丙烯酸樹脂/纖維素酯=90/10~60/40。
  2. 如申請專利範圍第1項之偏光板保護薄膜,其中未施加伸張應力時,在50℃、80%RH條件下,以式(I)表示,且波長589nm下之薄膜的面內延遲R0 (589)為-3nm~+3nm的範圍,且以式(II)表示,且波長589nm下之薄膜之厚度方向的延遲Rt(589)為-3nm~+3nm的範圍,式(I):R0 (589)=(nx-ny)×d 式(II):Rt(589)={(nx+ny)/2-nz}×d(d:薄膜之厚度(nm)、nx:薄膜之面內的雙折射成為最大之X軸方向的折射率、ny:薄膜面內與X軸正交之Y軸方向的折射率、nz:薄膜之厚度方向的折射率)。
  3. 如申請專利範圍第1項之偏光板保護薄膜,其中在50℃、80%RH條件下的光彈性常數為-3.0×10-12 ~3.0× 10-12 m2 /N。
  4. 如申請專利範圍第1項之偏光板保護薄膜,其中在23℃、55%RH條件下,將5MPa~35MPa之任一的伸張應力施加於前述薄膜之X軸方向或Y軸方向時,在波長589nm下所測定之前述薄膜的應力下雙折射(nx-ny)成為0。
  5. 如申請專利範圍第1項之偏光板保護薄膜,其中前述丙烯酸樹脂與前述纖維素酯之質量比為丙烯酸樹脂/纖維素酯=90/10~80/20。
  6. 如申請專利範圍第1項之偏光板保護薄膜,其中前述纖維素酯之醯基的總取代度為2~3,且碳數3~7之醯基的取代度為2~3。
  7. 如申請專利範圍第1項之偏光板保護薄膜,其中前述纖維素酯之醯基的總取代度為2~3,且碳數3~7之醯基的取代度為2~3。
  8. 一種偏光板,其特徵係具有偏光鏡及配置於前述偏光鏡之至少一面之如申請專利範圍第1項的偏光板保護薄膜。
  9. 一種液晶顯示裝置,其係由辨識側依序含有第一偏光板、液晶胞、第二偏光板及背光的液晶顯示裝置,其中前述液晶胞係具有配置有像素電極及對向電極之其中一方的基板、另一方的基板、被挾持於前述其中一方的基板與另一方的基板間,且含有在無外加電壓時相對於前述其中一方的基板面為水平配向之液晶分子的液晶層,前述第一偏光板係具有第一偏光鏡及配置於前述第一 偏光鏡之前述液晶胞側面的偏光板保護薄膜F2,前述第二偏光板係具有第二偏光鏡及配置於前述第二偏光鏡之前述液晶胞側面的偏光板保護薄膜F3,前述偏光板保護薄膜F2及F3之至少一方為申請專利範圍第1項的偏光板保護薄膜。
  10. 一種液晶顯示裝置,其係由辨識側依序含有第一偏光板、液晶胞、第二偏光板及背光的液晶顯示裝置,其中前述液晶胞係具有配置有像素電極及對向電極之其中一方的基板、另一方的基板及被挾持於前述其中一方的基板與另一方的基板間,且含有在無外加電壓時相對於前述其中一方的基板面為水平配向之液晶分子的液晶層,前述第一偏光板係具有第一偏光鏡及配置於前述第一偏光鏡之前述液晶胞側面的偏光板保護薄膜F2,前述第二偏光板係具有第二偏光鏡及配置於前述第二偏光鏡之前述液晶胞側面的偏光板保護薄膜F3,前述偏光板保護薄膜F2及F3之至少一方為申請專利範圍第1項的偏光板保護薄膜。
  11. 一種液晶顯示裝置,其係由辨識側依序含有第一偏光板、液晶胞、第二偏光板及背光的液晶顯示裝置,其中前述液晶胞係具有配置有像素電極及對向電極之其中一方的基板、另一方的基板及被挾持於前述其中一方的基板與另一方的基板間,且含有在無外加電壓時相對於前述其中一方的基板面為水平配向之液晶分子的液晶層,前述第一偏光板係具有第一偏光鏡及配置於前述第一 偏光鏡之前述液晶胞側面的偏光板保護薄膜F2,前述第二偏光板係具有第二偏光鏡及配置於前述第二偏光鏡之前述液晶胞側面的偏光板保護薄膜F3,前述偏光板保護薄膜F2及F3之至少一方為申請專利範圍第7項的偏光板保護薄膜。
  12. 如申請專利範圍第9項之液晶顯示裝置,其中前述偏光板保護薄膜F2及F3之至少一方含有含內酯環聚合物。
  13. 一種液晶顯示裝置,其係由辨識側依序含有第一偏光板、液晶胞、第二偏光板及背光的液晶顯示裝置,其中前述液晶胞係具有配置有像素電極及對向電極之其中一方的基板、另一方的基板及被挾持於前述其中一方的基板與另一方的基板間,且含有在無外加電壓時相對於前述其中一方的基板面為水平配向之液晶分子的液晶層,前述第一偏光板係具有第一偏光鏡及配置於前述第一偏光鏡之前述液晶胞側面的偏光板保護薄膜F2,前述第二偏光板係具有第二偏光鏡及配置於前述第二偏光鏡之前述液晶胞側面的偏光板保護薄膜F3,前述偏光板保護薄膜F3為如申請專利範圍第1項的偏光板保護薄膜。
  14. 如申請專利範圍第9項之液晶顯示裝置,其中前述偏光板保護薄膜F3含有含內酯環聚合物。
