1324669 九、發明說明: 【發明所屬之技術領域】 本發明係有關於一種光源模組,特別係有關於一種具 有高散熱效率之光源模組。 【先前技4舒】 隨著半導體與電子科技之進步,傳統的陰極射線管 (CRT)顯示器已逐漸被體積小以及低輻射的平面顯示器所 • 取代。一般而言,傳統的平面顯示器大都利用螢光燈管作 為背光源(backlight),然而螢光燈管常具有體積過大以及使 用壽命較短的問題。 爲了提升光源模組的使用效能與壽命,目前亦有利用 體積較小且重量較輕的發光二極體作為平面顯示器的背光 源,然而有鑑於溫度過高會嚴重影響發光二極體的亮度以 及使用壽命,因此光源模組的散熱始成為一重要之課題。 • 【發明内容】 本發明提供一種光源模組,包括一電路板、一發光元 件以及一第一散熱板。前述電路板具有一穿孔,上述發光 元件設置於電路板之第一側,其中發光元件的位置對應於 前述穿孔。前述第一散熱板設置於電路板之第二侧並具有 一第一凸出部,對應於前述穿孔以及發光元件,其中第一 凸出部朝電路板方向伸入穿孔内並與發光元件接觸。舉例 而言,前述第一散熱板可為一具有高導熱係數之鋁板,前 0954-A22042TWF(N2);P54950063TW:tklin 5 1324669 述發光元件可為一發光二極體,且前述電路板可為一 FR-4 印刷電路板。 於一實施例中,前述光源模組更包括一第二散熱板, 上述第二散熱板具有一第二凸出部,朝電路板方向凸出並 且連接第一散熱板。特別地是,前述第二凸出部的位置可 偏離第一凸出部,使得第一、第二散熱板之間形成一間隙, 以增進其散熱效能。 為使本發明之上述目的、特徵、和優點能更明顯易懂, 下文特舉較佳實施例並配合所附圖式做詳細說明。 【實施方式】 首先請參閱第1圖,於本實施例中的光源模組適用於 一電子裝置,例如可作為一平面顯示器内部之背光源,其 主要包括一電路板10、複數個發光元件20以及一第一散 熱板30,前述電路板10例如為FR-4印刷電路板,前述發 光元件20例如為發光二極體,前述散熱板30則可利用導 熱性較電路板10高的材質所製成,例如可採用鋁板作為散 熱板30。 如第1圖所示,發光元件20係位於電路板10之第一 側11,並且和電路板10電性連接,第一散熱板30則設置 於電路板10之第二側12,其中第二側12相反於第一側 11,藉由第一散熱板30可迅速地將發光元件20所產生之 熱能朝下方散出,以避免電路板10或發光元件20溫度過 高而導致損壞。有關前述電路板10與第一散熱板30的連 0954-A22042TWF(N2);P54950063TW;tklin 6 1324669 接方式例如可採用螺絲或機械嵌合,或者亦可在電路板ίο 與第一散熱板30之間設置具有黏性之絕緣導熱墊(未圖 示),藉以使兩者穩固地黏合。 於本實施例中,前述電路板10設有複數個穿孔13, 上述穿孔13貫穿電路板10並且連接第一、第二側11、12, 其位置則分別對應於每一發光元件20。此外,前述第一散 熱板30上形成有複數個第一凸出部31,其位置分別對應 於每一穿孔13以及發光元件20。特別地是,前述第一凸 出部31係朝電路板10方向凸出,並且伸入對應的穿孔13 内進而與發光元件20接觸,如此一來發光元件20所產生 之熱能可直接透過第一散熱板30迅速地朝下方傳遞,進而 可大幅提升散熱效果。其中,為了確保第一凸出部31與 發光元件20之間有效地連接,亦可在發光元件20以及 第一凸出部31之間設置絕緣導熱墊(未圖示),使得發光元 件20所產生之熱能可迅速地傳遞至第一散熱板30。特別 地是,前述發光元件20以及穿孔13例如可採矩陣方式排 列(如第2圖所示),然而亦可視所需要的光場設計,將發 光元件20以及穿孔13採取其他特定的方式排列。 此外,前述光源模組亦可設置複數個散熱板以增進其 散熱效能。接著請參閱第3圖,於另一實施例中之光源模 組除了設有第一散熱板30外,更增設了 一第二散熱板40。 如前所述,第一散熱板30係設置於電路板10之第二側 12,其中第一散熱板30上之第一凸出部31穿過電路板10 之穿孔13進而與發光元件20接觸。另一方面,前述第二 0954-A22042TWF(N2);P54950063TW:tklin 7 1324669 散熱板40係連接於第一散熱板30下方表面並具有複數個 第二凸出部41,其中第二凸出部41朝電路板10方向凸出 並抵接第一散熱板30,其位置則偏離第一凸出部31,藉此 可使得第一、第二散熱板30、40之間形成一間隙,以增加 散熱面積並提升散熱效能。同理,亦可視需要在第一、第 二散熱板30、40下方增設若干個散熱板(如第3圖所示之 散熱板50、60)以強化其光源模組的散熱效能。 综上所述,本發明提供一種光源模組,其中藉由在電 路板上形成穿孔,並利用散熱板上之凸出部穿過前述穿孔 而與發光元件接觸,可增進光源模組之散熱效能,藉以避 免電路板或發光元件因高溫而導致損壞。 雖然本發明以前述之較佳實施例揭露如上,然其並非 用以限定本發明,任何熟悉此技藝者,在不脫離本發明之 精神和範圍内,當可做些許之更動與潤飾,因此本發明之 保護範圍當視後附之申請專利範圍所界定者為準。
