Abstract

A kind of side-direction field-emission light-emitting device is revealed in the present invention. The fluorescent powder material region is independently disposed between the cathode and the anode. The conduction layer is arranged below the fluorescent powder material region such that the field-emitted electrons can directly penetrate through the fluorescent powder material region to emit light. In addition, the generation problem of electron accumulation can be avoided; and light generated by the fluorescent powder material region can not be blocked by the anode such that the high-cost transparent conductive glass is not required. Furthermore, as both cathode and anode are on the same plane, no spacer between the cathode and the anode is required. Thus, it is capable of lowering the manufacturing cost and increasing the process yield.
