Abstract

A handling system for testing semiconductor devices comprises a frame, a pair of conveyor belts mounted on the frame and spaced apart each other. A drive motor is provided for driving the belts. The frame includes a plurality of stay bars extending transversely of the direction of conveyance at respective locations disposed between front and rear ends of each belt. A plurality of tension rollers are mounted on the frame for deflecting a flight of each belt around the stay bars, whereby the stay bars are situated out of the loops formed by the belts. This enables the belts to be removed from the frame without disconnecting the stay bars from the frame. A drive shaft can be formed of two parts which, when disconnected from each other, enables a belt to be passed between the shaft parts.
