Abstract

An anti-fogging agent for the surface of a thermoplastic resin sheet comprising (a) sucrose aliphatic ester mixture, (b) coated hydrophilic high molecule compound and (c) D-sorbitol, in which component (c) exists in the amount of 1 to 15 wt% based on the total weight of component (a) and (b) at 100 wt%, the weight ratio of component (a) to (b) is 20-80:100, the molar ratio of sucrose in component (c) is no less than 50%, and lauryl ester, and component (b) is selected from the groups composed of protein, carbohydrate, polyarylic acid, polysodium acrylate, polyacrylamide, polyvinyl oxide, polyvinyltetrahydropyrrolidone, polyvinyle alcohol, polyvinylamide, polyamine, alginic acid, aginic acid salt, carboxymethycellulose, hydroxyethylcelluose and carboxypropylcellulose.
