Abstract

A method for producing a sintered ore comprises the agglomerating step, drying step and sintering step. The agglomerating step comprises adding water and binder to sintering material containing carbonaceous material, and agglomerating the sintering material to produce agglomerated sintering material. The drying step comprises drying the agglomerated sintering material to reduce the water content to 4.0 mass% or less. The sintering step comprises charging the dried sintering material and sintering the charged sintering material.
