Abstract

This invention relates to an electron emission device. The electron emission device includes an electron emitter, an anode opposite to the electron emitter, a first power supply for applying a heating voltage on the electron emitter, and a second power supply for exerting a voltage between the electron emitter and the anode. The electron emission device can achieves a stable emission current by heating the electron emitter to emit a number of electrons. In addition, because of a requirement of output voltage of the first power supply is low, the emission current could be adjusted conveniently.
