Abstract

A liquid crystal display panel, including a first substrate, a second substrate, a liquid crystal layer and a spacer is provided. The second substrate is disposed over the first substrate, and the liquid crystal layer is disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate. The spacer is also disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate, for sustaining a gap between the first substrate and the second substrate. The spacer is composed of many support structures, and each support structure has a first portion and a second portion. The first portions of the adjacent support structures are connected with each other, and the second portions of the adjacent support structures are spaced out a distance. The spacer can disperse external pressure so as to improve the yield in the assembling process of the liquid crystal display.
