Abstract
This invention provides a sliding type fork device through which the dust scattering is difficult and it is convenient to operate. In the present invention, a base portion end engaging member (23) is provided on middle composition portion (A) in the condition that engaging action range of the base end engaging member (23) is formed shorter than length of guide rail (22a) of the base portion end disposed on base end member (15), and a forefront end engaging member (24) is provided on the middle composition portion (A) in the condition that engaging action range of the forefront end engaging member (24) is formed shorter than length of guide rail (22b) of the forefront end disposed on forefront end member (19). An out-in drive means is provided for slide the middle composition portion (A) with respect to the base portion end member (15), and also for slide the forefront end member (19) with respect to the middle composition portion (A) in such state that the whole engaging action range of the base end engaging member (23) being engaged with the guide rail (22a) of the base end and the whole engaging action range of the forefront end engaging member (24) being engaged with the guide rail (22b) of the forefront end can be maintained.
