Abstract

The present invention provides a baby carrier comprising a head support (2) for supporting the head of an infant from the outside while holding the infant with shoulder belts (4). An upwardly opening storage part (3) is formed at the back rest part (1-1) of a carrier body (1). The bottom side of the head support (2) formed of a soft sheet fabric is fitted to the storage part (3) near an opening part so that the head support (2) can be extracted from and stored in the storage part (3). Connection devices (11) disengageably connected to the shoulder belts (4) are fitted to both upper end sides of the head support (2). Accordingly, the head support (2) can be stored in the storage part (3) when not in use, and when the infant starts to sleep, the head support (2) can be taken out from the storage part (3) at the back rest part, and the upper end side thereof can be connected to the shoulder belts (4) with the connection devices (11) on both sides. As a result, the baby carrier can be immediately brought into a use state in which the head of the infant is supported from the outside.
