Abstract

The objective of this invention is to provide a flash unit for digital camera. The flash unit is easily manufactured, and unlimitedly disposes, it improves the operational reliability for assembling. It provides a method for manufacturing a flash unit, and a digital camera. The flash unit is installed in the camera to emit auxiliary light for photographing. The flash unit comprises a xenon (Xe) lamp, a trigger coil, and a holder. The xenon (Xe) lamp 24 discharges by applying a trigger voltage to emit the auxiliary light. The trigger coil 22 applies the trigger voltage on the xenon (Xe) lamp 24. When the trigger voltage is applied, the holder 21 integrally molds with the trigger coil 22 to support the xenon (Xe) lamp 24.
