Abstract

2- Aminopropan, bir transaminaz ile birlikte bir ketondan bir kiral aminin stereo-seçici sentezinde amin verici olarak kullanilir. Tipik bir uygulama (S)-1-metoksi-2- aminopropanin amin verici olarak bulunmasi ve 2-aminopropan kullanilarak metoksiasetonun transaminaz ile tepkimeye sokulmasi ve bu islemin yeterli miktarda metoksiasetonun (S)-1- metoksi-2-aminopropana ve 2- aminopropanin asetona dönüsmesine kadar sürdürülmesi ile gerçeklestirilir. Ikinci bir uygulamada amin verici olarak 2-aminopropan kullanilir ve pirüvik asit bir transaminaz ile tepkimeye sokularak L-alanin elde edilir.
